cork were terrible tonight, defence useless. unwilling to take any shots on goal from outside the 6yard box. showed total lack o confidence. Rovers well deserved it. im worried.
Good result for us tonight. Our young lad Gary McCabe had a stormer tonight. He's one to look out for. UCD's only real threat came from their number 7 and Conor Sammon did look a bit menacing at times, at others he seemed a bit clumsy. But I won't harp on about that. Not a great performance but thoroughly effective.
Longford dead and buried now.
Shocking result for Longford, having seen them deserve to beat Derry 2 weeks ago. As for us, we were ****:(.
:D
Can't really argue with that. Thought Bray were possibly lucky enough to take the points - the winner came against the run of play when we had had mots of the play in the second half to that point, including scoring - but Bray did at least carve out a few chances, which is more than we did. Still, had to lose sometime. Roll on Waterford on Friday, and touch wood another ten game unbeaten streak!

Looks much better for Bray and Waterford in terms of the scamble down our end. Bray with 2 matches in hand of all others, Waterford with one.
Whats the promotion/relegation situation this year?
yeah 2nd and 3rd in 1st div play-off against each other AFAIK.
then winner has another play-off against 2nd from bottom in Prem.
this should give the 1st division team momentum coming into the Premier Div play-off so wouldn't be too confident going into that game TBH.
Yeah 2 handy matches against Cork and Drogheda away. Easy 6 points :D
Still though, even if we did manage to win one of those games by the grace of god it would jump us 3 or 4 places as it stands now. Not a huge difference from Cork down to Galway at this stage. Only 8 points seperating 7 teams. Looks like bye bye Longford...
Average enough. He was saying beforehand how he enjoyed his trip so was surprised he played the full 90 but considering the scouts were there and cark dont wanna get stung again..........
We fully deserved to win. The hunger and appetite for hard work is a far cry from the wasters who last represented us in the premier.
KOH
Galway Utd v Limerick 37 in the the play-off, eh?
Now that would be interesting, to say the least. A few ppl on here would have countless meaningful debates about that one.
gamble didnt get much of the ball, well marked. brian o'callagahn was poor. john o'flynns gettin back into it tho, kearney cuda been lethal if he stopped running into corners and thought more when on the ball.
