mine didn't arrive yesterday so fingers crossed I have it when I get home.....
Anyone actually get a letter saying they didn't get tickets??
Still no sign of mine, pretty much given up all hope now :(
I asked for 6, not got the letter yet but after last night I might not take any!!!
I was blaming the longer postal time to get it to the UK but maybe I've missed out :(
I got my letter yesterday. Applied for 4 tickets for the Lower Hogan. Was offered 4 tickets for Lower Cusack. I sent a letter asking to be offered tickets for any potential singing section. There was no reference to this in their offer. If there is a singing section I would be willing to trade my ticket for one in the Davin .
still waiting on mine too test. :(
going to ring them today and notify them, so that they can send another form or a) assuming i get it tomorrow will wait for payment a bit longer.
Email them, I emailed a lady called Mary Byrne yesterday , MByrne@fai.ie , and she emailed me back straight away and told me I had received my allocation and that they went out in the post to me and they were at home when i got there.
She seems to be very good at her job adn very helpful so I wuold email her if i was you.
At least someone in the FAI seems to be competent!!!
Mary Byrne for Chief Exec!!! ha ha
Any UK based "waiting listers" received their letters yet? tight turnaround time for Monday as still not got mine. Although I am sure we will not be penalised if we are a few days late.
shakermaker i only got my letter yesterday, will be posted today got 2 upper Davin as requested , phone or email them the ticket office quoting your customer reference. Mine is still WL XXXXX which i am assume still means waiting list. Are the block booker references BB XXXXX.
Mine arrived yesterday - phew! Lower Cusack. Missus had a rant when she fount out it was 70 euro's a ticket but oh well!!!
Still havent got mine either, in fairness like if they posted the letters last week as they said, the letters would surely be out to everyone by now. Gonna give them a ring later today. Its a bit much asking people to have the money in on monday when they're only receiving the letters a day or two before hand.
Got my letter yesterday, asked for 4 (Upper Davin) offered four (Upper Davin), sent letter back in last post yesterday, cant see them being super strict on the Monday deadline though
My friend got his a bit late though..
FAI posted application letter to 185 XXXXXXX (correct address) and then posted offer to 158 xxxxxxx (Wrong addess) typical FAI, lucky for him that the post man knows him...
There were 'very few' returned yesterday when I dropped mine into reception.
lads its daftness , they send out the forms while we are in italy and you are expected to have paid up by monday!! still i got my allocation so happy days
I applied for 2 per game was 5000 and something on the list. surely they have some thing for me? Although I live in europe Irish Post and all a letter will be late.
applied for 4, only got the letter today. i have been charged 280 for 4 tickets per game, so i am assuming lower cusack/lower hogan is what i got. can someone tell me where does it say it on the invoice ( your seats are ), as my mother couldn't spot it anywhere......
I emailed the FAI yesterday and they told me as long as it arrives next week you will be fine. to be fair to them, I can see why they did this, they wanted the payments and invoices back ASAP, so they just said monday to ensure as many people would get them in as quickly as possible and not do the irish thing, "ah sure it will be grand, ill send them in in a couple of days!"
FAI Allocates Tickets for Croke Park Matches
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Date: Tuesday, 06 February 2007 Section: FAI News
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All existing FAI block bookers, clubs, supporter groups, leagues and affiliates are receiving confirmation of their ticket allocations this week. This follows a hugely increased demand for the home matches. Over 12,000 fans who had previously been on waiting lists for tickets have also had their ticket requests accommodated.
This is what the F.A.I posted on their website on Tuesday.
I did not recieve a letter so i rang today and was told that no tickets were avaliable. Was around 4000 on the WL.
boo hoo hoo!
Paul on the ticket invoice it's broken down like this (well for me anyway):
Area-----------Ticket QTY------Ticket Price
Cusack Lower---- 4 ------------ 70
Highlight did you quote your 'customer' reference number when you made the inquiry if you are 4000 on the list your ref is approx WL 18000. It will be listed on all your correspondace from FAI.
Or did you just ring up enquiring about tickets ? I believe one Wexdec guys was 5000 on the list and got offered.
Maybe they didnt receive you request ?
how she couldn't see that ill never know. did it say total as another column after ticket price, cos she knew it was 280 for each game.Quote:

it did Paul yep and then total for both games. Looks a lot!
Quoted my ref number and they had my request for upper hogan/cusack (which was submitted before the jan 12 deadline by hand) but because those tickets were gone they did not see fit to allocate me in a different section. My only hope now is if some hill tickets are returned from the away associations!
I haven't heard a thing about my allocation. To be honest I only applied so i can go to the home games in October. Was going to give the rest to my dad. It will be easy enough getting tickets. Somebody always knows somebody who has tickets
Hi All
Just wondering did anyone experience this problem? I got my block booking waiting list invoice this week but I had been in San Marino for the game and got back late friday night to see the letter from the FAI. So posted it off first thing Sat Morning but on the Letter it says has to be with the FAI by COB on Monday. Am going to ring them first thing in the morning to explain but does anybody thing they will still accept my application if it doesnt reach them by Monday?
Regards
Murty

Still, the week after an away game isn't ideal to be spending another wad of cash on them.
I wasnt successful with my application. Was in around the 3,500 mark on the waiting list. Not happy about it. I was told that I am still on a list to recieve any that might be returned. Im still pretty confident that ill get a ticket for the games, but it would have been nice to have my own sorted.
It was confirmed. I e-mailed them this morning and got this reply:
Unfortunately, at present you are still on the list to receive tickets.
All available tickets have been allocated to date. We have retained a
list of persons whom still require tickets, however at present we are
not in a position to make any further offers until all current offers
have been accepted.
We will be in touch as soon as we can confirm.
Kind regards

Does anyone else agree that there is no system to the BB waiting list. I am number 3900 on the waiting list, so you would presume that if there were an extra 12,000 tickets that I would get one.
The FAI have decided to give some people as many as they wanted as long as it helped fill Croke Park. I was told that I was not successful in my application despite the fact that people even further down the list got sorted.
Surely they should have ensured that everyone on the waiting list got at least 1 ticket and them offered them the chance to buy more.
What happens when Landsdowne is redeveloped - Will there be more BBs offered. If so will it be 1 per person on the waiting list or a free for all like Croker.
I am not surprised though having had plenty of problems with the FAI previously with tickets - Further symbolises the lack of professionalism within the organisation
So if I am number 3900 on list does that mean there are 3899 in front of me or is it 3899 X 2,3,4 (whatever was requested)
There seems to be a growing trend here, so I'll add my name to the list ****ed off with the FAI.
I've been on the waiting list a number of years, last year was told I was around the 1000 mark. Hand delivered my application for tickets to the FAI and they are now telling me that they never received it. Fcuking joke, so ****ed off. So anyone who might have ordered spares I'd be grateful.
Ive a feeling after last weeks shambles not all those allocated will be taking tickets however so just hopeful i might get sorted.
