Kilbane has the right attributes for a LB, but his positioning was all over the place against Holland.

Yeah I agree with you on that but I feel with Dunne at the back talking he would be fine in my opinion. Carrs positioning is all over the place at times in my view.

In a practise game against a local youth side, the Irish team lined out with the midfield and strikers as:
