If you have a question just ask!
There is no "strike" the referees have lives too and some are off while in addition to this there is now ladies football on sunday this also takes away some refs. so I am sorry to dissapoint any one who would have liked a bit of strife but there is no issue between the refs and the league.
however there is always a requirement for more refs so if anyone is willing to don the black please make contact
I think there was a rule before that every club must supply a ref, it was never really enforced. I think other leagues have it in operation. I dont think its a money issue with the refs, its just the way the world is today, people like having there weekends free.
There was never an actual rule that each club had to supply a referee. Clubs wouldnt have voted in a rule like that as there is no guarantee they could supply the ref.
There was however a campaign to encourage clubs to put forward associate referees or full referees a couple of seasons ago. If I remember correctly only one candidate came out of it.
how about telling the clubs why the treasurer was forced to resign because he stood up for the clubs!!!!!!!!!!! or why ye cant get yer grant now for the lights!!!!!!!! how about some real answers
Second time replying to your posts today!
You really should check your facts before posting (or ask whoever is feeding you to give you better information)
The treasurer was not forced to resign nor did the treasurer resign. However due to an ongoing appeal process I can't and won't comment further until the matter is fully resolved.
I am not the treasurer but I do know that the grant for the lights has been processed and issued. You really need to speak with your handler and get some up to date info if your going to spout rubbish on any site!!!!
LONGTIMEFAN...Your attitude and tone is exactly what WAS wrong with The council..there is a new attitude comming out from the council at the moment and it is long overdue. I was there the night the forms were issued and the behaviour of some one of your Real ldmc members was a disgrace.... I could also tell a few stories about the same people and other behaviour that the nazi party wouldn't put up with.. my club had to go to council with some of his behaviour because it had gone beyond a joke... what is your opinion on the ldmc website????
Oh Yes i have and what a sorry bunch some of them are, Not all may i add, a small minority..what clubs would these "real long time members" be fighting for? i take it that you think that lenght of service is the be all and end all of competence...it happens in all walks of life , new blood comes in and regenerates the organisation, if this does not happen the organisation will go stale, set in its ways and wither...
as for the website being propaganda... grow up.. all info is propaganda in the wrong hands...and my has there been plenty of wrong hands in jackman...are you saying that the present PRO is Mr Goobells..?
The clubs are the bigest ones in limerick and they are leading the charge for to change this committee. how can you call the pro a real pro when there are hardly no notes every week in the chronicle!! and how do we know the information given out on this website is the right information!!
(1) I am involved with one of the biggest clubs and we are not leading any charge.
(2) when did the ldmc pro ever put notes in the chronicle? Clubs do this.
(3) how do you know any info given either privately or in the public domain is the right info??
would one of the biggest clubs be the one that tried to belittle the chairman, with the help of the treasurer on the night that the forms were given out?
who would you consider to be the biggest clubs in limk...
you and your bunch just want to have your old little boys club giving certain info about certain clubs to your favs. if everybody was treated the same there would not be any problems.
very easy to rebutt this one...
"the fixtures secretary and he could handle it" that was exactly the problem
my club asked for a fixture to be cancelled last season and were told that as it was 13 days before fixture that it was too late. 14 days required.
You cannot have one person deceiding who plays and when... it leaves the whole thing open to favouritism. stick by the rule and there is no prob..
well said
I go away for a few hours and the whole thread falls to bits!!
I will wait till i am finished work to answer all of the Long Time Fans rants. I get a fit if the giggles when I read them. Someone should really take the shovel off him because he is in deep enough already.
Why bother replying to him at all, its almost as if you acknowledge he has some valid point to make
IMO this is trolling:mad:
while im not a fan of the ldmc whoever longtime fan is (paddy cussack is my guess :D ) has there own agenda - why should 1 man have the power to deside if a team can have a match called off or not!
having the rules upfront and clear where everyone can see them is the way forward and everyone knows where they stand. people respect that (except for the "real ldmc")
the website is a great idea and gives the league a air of transparancy and can only be good for the profile of the league
if the league did go back to the bad old days of cloak and dagger stuff in smokey filled back rooms football in limerick will only be worse for it
old keeper keep up the good work and i for one appriciate what you do
longtimefan can you answer a question for all of us - who are the real ldmc?
i thought the we were the league and the ldmc committee representeed us? and without us you are nothing
as u2 said - don't let the ba5tards get you down
well hopefully everybody can bury the hatchet next week and support the charity game in Jackman to help the Murray Children fund. lets get a huge turnout to show what limerick soccer is all about.
Just a quick one, Old keeper. The fixtures per division on the LDMC site have been causing a bit of confusion at FAI/MFA weekends. I know that the last time "A" teams weren't competing in either that new fixtures were scheduled for B or C teams. This caused problems as some of those teams players had already made plans to go away based on the LDMC site's fitxture list. With the new fixture not appearing until Tuesday's Chronicle, teams were left short due to other commitments being pre-arranged. I know it has happened one or two teams again this weekend.
Make three divisons (3a, 3B and 3C) from the bottom four divisions. There is simply not enough games in a season for those clubs in the lower leagues. Its what everyone wants so please discuss that at the nect meeting. Ta.
old keeper is very quiet now that a few to the point questions have been asked! wheres the info and openess now
Real ldmc my arse... crawl back under you rock and let the people with new and intelligent ideas prosper... your contribution yesterday proved to any doubters which is the right way to go... I imagine that your little group still think that the world is Flat, The earth is the center of the solar system and that the titanic was unsinkable..
who are THE RIGHT PEOPLE?????
do us minnions need to be ruled by the right people???
