I made nothing up. I asked you an honest question and you gave me an honest answer.

To answer your question, I am assuming that nothing will be done to Santry before next season because of the timing. I know nothing more on the move other than what's already placed in the public domain by Ollie Byrne and Fintan Cassidy and I never claimed to know any more.

Higgins, with all due respect, you cannot expect people to only talk about things that have been confirmed officially by Shels or Ollie. No one has actually officially confirmed the wages thing nor has it been reported in the press (to the best of my knowledge) and we know that at least some degree of it is true. Shelbourne fans on here seem only to be in the mood of denial and ambiguous statements. If your club and fans aren't going to be forthcoming with information then why should people not be allowed to bring information to the board. It's your fault you don't seem to be countering any of it or not coming forward with info.

I dont fully know whats going on either, nobody but Ollie knows whats fully going on with Shels. what i have tried to do is point out where you lot have been wrong.

I can if you want but Ive no knowledge to base it on so it would be foolish. I could say I heard from a guy who is close mates to a an ex EL player and as we all know the EL is a small place! Would that be enough for me to get on your side.

As for coming out with information myself ! I dont work for Shels and as I said I dont know the exact story so couldnt and wouldnt post it here even if I did.

If you know as little as you say you do though then it doesn't explain why you're quick to deny a lot of things. If you're similarly in the lurch then you can't confirm or deny rumours with any certainty.

Well I think location wise it couldnt be much better but of course I would love to have more space around and own the stadium ourselves.

Its been clear enough these past few months that the money we get from the sale of Tolka wont fund a new ground even without the bridging loans rumours. It seems we need a helping hand same way as Rovers have out in Tallaght. Land prices are far too expensive now and without a donation of council land we would be in a position to build a stadium with the profits from Tolka.

The FAI want groundsharing and I wouldnt like to be stuck in Dalymount the home of Bohs, same as being stuck out in Richmond the home of Pats. I wouldnt like to go to Tallaght either!

When I hear Santry I would be very happy to move there. Even with its 800 seats at present. The land is big enough to hold a decent sized stadium without a running track.

Depending on the deal worked out from the sale of Tolka we could go there with cash in the pocket and a sharing scheme would allow us gain further funding from the FAI (if they stay true to their word).

Id take a move to Santry in the morning!!!

I've heard Santry been mentioned but it only seems to be fans from other clubs saying that we are moving there next season AND with the stadium in its current state. Where has this story come from? As far as I know we haven't been kicked out of Tolka yet

If all it was to ever hold was 800 seats then yes of course I think it lacks ambition but as TheOwl says it was never stated the ground would remain untouched.

Tolka wasnt like the way it is today when we moved there either. Not that its anything to shout about but a patch of land a stones throw from Tolka with some potential and maybe the cash to do something with it sounds fair enough to me.

Our own new stadium would be ideal but a new santry would beat Tallaght, Dalymount or Richmond for me.

Problem with that is that once the news comes out, it's too late to do anything about it. If you want to make a change for the better in your culb, you have to pre-empt the news. That's a Supporters' Club, higgins. Any club can have one of those. Does it purport just to give Shels money or are they interested in finding out what's going on and ultimately taking control if Ollie finally bites off more than he can chew?

We already have a supporters' club this seems to be different and seen as one of their listed aims is to acquire shares in the club, I think it is fair to say they are interested in "finding out what is going on"

No reason you can't have a second Supporters' Club. As I understand it anyway, the official SC isn't hugely active anyway. Also, the new group seems very close to Shels (i.e. announced on the official site) for something which is supposed to be rattling the cage a bit. Still, best of luck with it.

20 euro per week per member ???

We have a deal in place for 21% of the shares.
We will hopefully take responsibility for various funtions within the club (ie Run parts of Shelbourne)
We have a deal in place for 2 places on the Board of Management

and NO the money is belonged to SSDG and the members, its different to Shelbourne FC. Not one cent has changed hands yet and it wont until we have proper structures in place and all is transparent.

We are not aiming to take control but if it all went pear shaped its a good basis to carry Shelbourne on considering we would be already looking after various functions but we're not aiming for control, its important to stress that.

What Ollie does his his business, this SSDG will be around whoever is in place but hopefully Ollie is there for a while longer.

Its not a 2nd Supporters Club!
Its a members club made up of Shelbourne supporters

The offical supporters club is not up to much I dont think, I have not been a part of it for a few years now anyway. They still run the half time raffle and do other things around Shelbourne but its not as big members wise as it once was.

The new group is close to Shels???
Not sure what you mean there?... Its not Shels but we are all working for the benefit of Shels so if thats close then yes we are close. As far as announcing it on the official site goes, eeeeeeeeeh thats where a lot of Shelbourne fans visit :confused: Its a good medium to get the word out about the group.

We have had about two months of Ad Hoc committee. Then a Open Meeting for all fans where we elected an Interim Committee and are now working towards our first AGM in Spetember. Care to join ??? :D
