Balla might lose a few if there is no change in "A" team mangers position.
Paul Quinn going from Carew to Balla.
Anyone heard anything else????
Any update on the managers positions with all the premier clubs???
good one firstQuote:

How long will that relationship last?
One of the most high profile signings this summer is Anthony Cusack of Aisling who is definately signing with Pike Rvs who offered to pay him..this is fact!
Cant wait for the denials from the pike lads.....hope he signed pro-forms
Cusack would be some loss to aisling with 30 goals last season. What does this so called 'pay' consist of ? A pair of puma king and a can of club orange in the Pike Bar after the games!
Pike will be the best team in town again next season. Anthony Cusack should sign for pike if he was asked. Its a chance to improve himself with a bigger club, they won't pay him either thats complete rubbish, there are better players with them already who would leave if that was the case and pike know this.... only club that pays players seems to be the boro...
getting ahead of yourself about the comming season, UL are a very big club in terms of numbers, only the view & geraldines have as many playing members.
i can tell you that the no boro player was payed last season. boro have never denied that players have been payed in the past..probably one of the first too go down that road years ago...I suppose every player who has ever lined out for pike was doing it for his love of the hoops... best of luck to young cusack if he can get some of pike lotto money...dont know if pike have a better goal scorer than cusack... he probably scored more than the whole pike team last season..
Not sure I agree with all of what you say, aisling are a big club and a club on the up, they had a rocky start to last season but proved they are a capable side and I would not be surprised if they are in the mix for honours next season.Quote:

There are very few clubs in limerick that have not sweetened the pot for potential signings.
There are some good things being said about ULAA these days, lets hope they put the cat amongst the pigeons next season, it would be good to see another team challenging. NO????Quote:

I suspect Corbally have more than both Fairview and Geraldines, if not more than UL even.Quote:

any speculation at this stage is just ridiculous , players will whore themselves all over town as per usual and then just stay with their respective clubs , anything for a bit of attention!!!! anyone agree?

as usual pike will have several open days.
i think balla may be getting one or two carew pk players.
the boro could surprise a few people this year if they can add one or two quality players.
can't see anyone else even coming close to competing for the league.
carew could be relegation contenders this year if they as expected lose a lot.
if you believe this site they are all losing players.loyalty fc will win the league next year.is it true the season isnt starting til sept?
Well who said that? the season will start in Aug but we have to determine which teams are still in the leagues. some clubs may be entering additional teams some may be pulling one of their b or c teams. The cut off date for clubs to enter teams in the 2006-2007 LDL leagues is the 1st August. following that date the fixtures for each division can be projected and then the league start dates will be posted on the website allong with all fixtures.Quote:

But in truth most lads will play for the club they have always played for, of course there are the few glory hunters who will want to see to be playing for the glamour club or the the club that has temp them away by other means of false promises or hopes of collecting club honnors.
well lads before any signing takes place there a thing called an AGM to take place with your league and hopefully you will have had yours as well by then.
then there is the drawing up of the divisions to be done by your league.
So if you get my driff there alot of work to be done before you start signing any players.
also don't forget the fundraiser you talked about at your last meeting if you had one or was it that chat you had down at the local pub.
so there along way to go just yet.
But by all means keep on dreaming of who you might sign next season.:)
stick to your SPL league i mean Mayo League and do us all a favour:rolleyes:Quote:
