We were 1-0 up by the end, we looked fair bit sharper than the sister club, pity about the storm, was enjoying it up until it got fierce, only an Irish club would bring such weather with them ey!
Dundalk 1-0 Cork City
Athlone 1-2 Sligo Rovers
Pats 6-0 Bray just finished.
Slow start but can finally say we're winning yet another pre season.
Shels 3-0 Drogheda
Shamrock Rovers 7-1 Treaty United. This had an 11am kickoff this morning in Roadstone.
Ringmahon Rangers v Treaty United is kicking off at 2pm this afternoon in the Munster Cup quarter-final.
Mulraney's International clearance probably not through yet, Harps did the same for a couple last week.....
Galway 2-2 Sligo

Ringmahon Rangers 3-4 Treaty United (AET)
Enda Curran (3) and Lee Devitt.
Longford 0-2 Shelbourne
Derry vs Aalborg in Spain is the latest ‘warm weather training venue’ postponement due to a water logged pitch. Won’t be long now before the big European sides make their way to the tropic coasts of Wexford for their mid-season training camps ;)
Derry players puking on the pitch a la Superleague Sunday AM games?
Ties in with both points of view.
Bray tweeting their friendly with Derry is off due to circumstances outside their control. Should we be worried about Derry?
There must be some kind of bug in the camp I’d say, probably just a little bit disruptive to their pre season is the height of it…
Longford away to Kilnamanagh AFC this Saturday 11 o clock kick off in Ned Kelly Park Kilnamanagh
is galways friendly with rovers still on, on saturday? rovers have LSC + a waterford game down aswell for the same day
Drogheda beat Dundalk 6-5 on penos after a 0-0 draw in the annual Malone Cup game
Excellent crowd for a friendly, about 1200 with 250 or so away fans. Decent atmosphere and some tasty tackles (would have been at least 2 reds in a league game)
Was very impressed with Connor Malley for ourselves looks an excellent player, glides past players with ease
Galway 0 Cork city 0 played last night in EDP Galway we’re much the better side looked fit and sharp had most of the chances if that’s Corks best side I would be worried unless some players have to come in
Friday Night Cobh 5 - Kilnamanagh 0
Today Kilnamanagh 1 - Longford 1
Shelbourne 2-1 Treaty United
Pats with quite a comfortable 2-0 against Sligo in Richmond just there. Jake Mulraney in the first half and Jamie Lennon with a belter in the second. Pats started quite well then looked happy to see it out with the two goals, Sligo played some tidy stuff but had zero going forward.
Kilnamanagh 1-1 Longford
Not much of a game in truth.
Waterford beat Shamrock Rovers 2 0 at Rovers training ground with goals from new signings Chris Conn Clarke and Barry Baggley.
Yeah, not sure what to make of that. Pats quite comfortable winners, without being outstanding. Mulraney looks like he has a nice turn of pace. The new Estonian lad in the middle (Kreida ?) looked neat and tidy on the ball and seems to like a tackle. Lewis at centre back did well too, though as Jack says, Sligo didn’t offer much of a threat.
Always best not to read too much into a friendly but still and all better to have positives than not. Mulraney looks to have a lot of quality about him in the couple of appearances so far, he's fast and his delivery looks excellent. Some nice strikes too. Was my first time watching Kreida but it gave me a bit of comfort if that performance is anything to go off, thought he looked a player and more importantly the type of one we've been lacking as well.
Just think we're sorely lacking in depth in certain areas, but the first 13 or so in the squad are looking good. Couple of full backs in (one on either side) could be done with for me as if Breslin in particular is missing for any game it doesn't look good.
Drew one all with shels last night. We were as good as I’ve seen us in a long time and Ronan Manning’s goal was class. Shels started well in the first 20 but after that we were well on top .
Bohs won 2-1 in Wexford yesterday. Coote and Flores with the goals. Longford at 12 today in the aul
