Not much hope of any further senior minutes for Cannon at Everton with Ellis Simms being recalled from his loan, so hopefully he can get his loan move as soon as possible. League 1 would be probably be a good starting point for him.

Brighton U21s are playing Leicester at the moment.
James Furlong and Andrew Moran starting for Brighton, Mark O'Mahony and Jamie Mullins named among the substitutes. Shane Flynn starting for Leicester, Arlo Doherty is a sub for them

Burnley looking to sign Deji Sotona on a free from Nice. Quite a season for him after a poor loan move to Kilmarnock he could off to Burnley.
Fulham's Ollie O'Neill linked with a loan move to Derry City
Cannon was regularly featuring on the bench for Everton though, made a couple of Premier League appearances and is a big physical unit.
O'Neill has made no real impact at all on the first team at Fulham. Having said that I think he'll do well at Derry and it strikes me as a sensible move for both teams. Surprised a League 1 or Scottish team didn't go for him.
Probably for half a season so better than being stuck playing U21s. While it's U21s level his stats are very good so hopefully a short loan at senior level can get him a better loan in the summer.
Kerry FC about to make their biggest signing I wonder.
Is he from Kerry?
I wondered the same thing re the Kerry move when I saw that but wondered if it were a significant step down. However, lads leaving English sides with little or no senior football are not going into Premier Division sides any more like maybe they used to. Back to Kerry and a course in college in Tralee might be a good platform.
I see Gaxha's contemporary at Sheffield United, Harry Cullinan, is back in Clare playing with Newmarket Celtic having left Sheffield United during the summer.
Hopefully the move is a good move for the lad and like jersey too. Nice colour, simple, and the sponsor logo doesn't stand out.
First professional contract for Cian Coleman at Leeds, until the summer of 2025
Came off the bench as a late sub against Bolton in the Football League Trophy in October

Ali Reghba tried to get his release from Belouizdad a few weeks ago, but all they'd offer him was a loan deal
Brighton continue to be the PDL team to watch for Irish supporters - on Monday, they lost 3-2 to West Ham, with Mark O'Mahony nabbing his first goal for them, along with an assist. Leigh Kavanagh, Matt Everitt and Jamie Mullins all played also, while Killian Cahill was an unused sub. Armstron Okoflex played the second half for the Hammers: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...1-v-albion-u21
He seemed to make no impact at all at Kilmarnock which, with the best will in the world, isn't exactly a great sign for his prospects.
Is David Odomusu still eligible for under-21 level? Wouldn't exactly fill you with confidence either, but another option for a spot in the squad which is surprisingly lacking in quality.
Ben Quinn signed a new contract with Celtic

Jack Henry Francis came off the bench for Arsenal's U21s yesterday, that's his first appearance since getting injured in January.
Got an assist, and was booked in a 3-3 draw
Signed his first pro contract in October 2021 so would assume it's up next summer.
Couple of goalscorers over the weekend:
Armstrong Oko-Flex scored West Ham's third in a 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday - Tayo Adamarola played the full 90 for the Eagles, Sean Grehan was a half-time sub and Franco Umeh-Chibueze came on in injury time: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...ham-united-u21
Jamie Mullins opened the scoring for Brighton against Arsenal, a game that also ended in a 3-3 draw. As noted earlier Jack Henry-Francis came on in the second half for the Gunners, while Leigh Kavanagh and Matt Everitt were unused subs for the Seagulls. Also, one of Brighton's second-half subs (and a goalscorer for them in recent weeks) was a lad called Joshua Duffus - could he be related to Irish underage internationals Courtney and Tyrone? If so, is he eligible and are the FAI keeping an eye on his progress? https://www.premierleague.com/match/...1-v-albion-u21
Surprised that Matt Everitt is still at Brighton. His career seems to have completely stalled after a promising start. It looks like his contract is up this summer, so he'll probably be moving on at that point.
Killian Cahill, Leigh Kavanagh, and Andrew Moran started for Brighton against Chelsea in the PL2 earlier, with Jamie Mullins and Mark O'Mahony named as substitutes
Moran scored twice, and O'Mahony came off the bench to score, in a 4-1 win for Brighton
Game is on YouTube
Moran's goals are at 57:37 and 1:23:15 - the second goal in particular is worth watching - and O'Mahony's is at 1:45:35
That's 12 for the season in all comps for Moran... from midfield - really looking promising. And O'Mahony isn't doing too bad - four goals in nine appearances since he transferred
Also, Zak GIlsenan was credited with an assist for Blackburn against Palace: https://www.premierleague.com/match/...urn-rovers-u21
Moran has been linked to a few Championship clubs recently for a potential loan next season - Blackburn, Stoke and Swansea were the teams mentioned. Swansea might suit him best of those in terms of playing style and they don't run a particularly big squad so he should get game time. Lack of physicality is probably his main issue so the Championship could be the making of him, but could also have the opposite effect especially with the rate of manager turnover in that division.
Sean Grehan, Fionn Mooney, and Tayo Adaramola all started for Crystal Palace's U21s as they beat Valencia on penalties in the semi finals of the Premier League International Cup. Franco Umeh came on for Mooney, and scored in the shoot out. Palace will face Ajax in the final
