And people wonder why people think Corks internet fans are clowns.
Only a Cork fan would call league positions, head to head results and silverwear as goobledegook. Sums the whole club up nicely.

Shels just keep dropping in my opinion. There is not one decent attribute that you could remotely credit to them not to mind comment on and that is a very poor state of affairs when they are a team that are meant to be pioneering the way in Irish football. They are filth .... pure and utter.
Makes me sick to say the least.
I have not posted in a while – he is my tuppence worth about all the issues last night.
City’s performance was excellent I thought we passed it a lot but played a good few long balls as well and tried to pull the immobile centre halfs of shels away from the centre and it worked well – City created a good few chances – people forget that Fenn had a simple chance after about 30 seconds as well as O’Donovan’s and Behans headers should have both hit the target – Shels had chances too but all in all it was a terrific match played on a wonderful surface – if the pitch at Turners Cross was half as good City would not be having so much trouble winning a league match at home. I find it unbelieveable that some City fans think we did not play well
This thing about Shels paying Refs and all this conspiracy is bordering on the absolutely ridiculous. If City loses to Shels some people think it an excuse to rant and rave about Ollie Byrne, Fenlon and all this rubbish – Cork City fans should concentrate on the fact that without 4 first teamers they created enough chances last night to win at Tolka and probably should have done. Having said that Shels seemed equally bitter after the game on Easter Monday so I guess its just the nature of the rivalry of undoubtedly the two best teams in the league.
As for the goal well its very disappointing to travel all the way up see your team play well and see a linesman make a decision like that – if you are not sure then its no goal – simple as that.
As for Heary/Kearney battle – there was nothing illegal about Heary’s tackles I think and he duly got booked for a professional foul – says a lot about Kearney that he attacked him at every opportunity despite the physical nature of Hearys play. It was a great battle between two great players.
The crowd was pathetic – no more that 1,000 shels fans there in my opinion which is a very poor effort indeed – heres hoping for good weather for the Portadown game and a bumper crowd.
Absolutley, sure what does a league position, a few trophys and head to head results prove?Quote:

Our 'brief' time? We've had more trophy winning seasons than Cork City have had seasons at all.Quote:

Gamble being sent off for being almost cut in half.
But the worm will turn.

Just on the issue of Heary being booked last night- he didn't deserve the card at all. He played as well as usual, and the tackle for which he was booked was nothing major. Still, I suppose if you've just cheated a team out of a goal, you'll want to cover your tracks
Well I reckon he got booked for an accumalation of times that he attempted to injure Liam. Great to see Liam being able to protect himself while making a monkey of the junkie.....Quote:

They're not paranoid, it's just that everyones out to get them. You see, one debatable decision goes against them so it's match fixing, what's paranoid about that!?Quote:

Shels are the luckiest team in Ireland. And their run of luck continued last night, with some strange decisions by the officials.
1. In an off the ball incident, Colin O’Brien gets a flying kick from the Shels No. 6 under the eyes of the ref, but play is waved on. Never mind, it’s only Shels.
2. Roy O’Donovan suffers a kick into the face by Dave Rogers, who looks such a picture of injured innocence, he is awarded a free kick! Ah, that’s OK, isn’t the Jolly Roger wearing a Shels shirt.
3. Joe Gamble shoulders a Shels player in his first minute on the pitch, and gets a yellow card for his effort.
4. Liam Kearney has the legs taken from under him by Owen Heary off the ball, but no free. Funnily enough, he complains, and gets a warning from the ref.
5. Jamie Harris heads towards City’s goal, and plays on when Devine palms it out. Despite the fact that neither Devine nor Harris thought it crossed the line, a goal is awarded.
6. Greg O’Halloran collects an easy 60-40 ball, and a Shels play goes down. Free kick awarded against City despite the fact that the dive started even before the ball reaches Greg. :p
Och, never mind. It no more than the “luck” that Shels enjoys when EL officials are around.
I don't believe it... Its not just the Irish league and Eircom league refs who make dodgy decisions.. Liverpool have just scored a "goal" which is scaringly similiar to shels last night!
Bad time to be a Cork/Chelsea supporter! :rolleyes:Quote:

A 1-0 defeat to Shels meant we need to beat Portadown 2-0 in the last game. If Shels got a break from our corner and scored we'd have had to win by 4 goals against Portadown.
I think its fairly clear that you cant take losing Eanna.. Your posts on here and on the shels message board suggest that :confused:Quote:

match fixing ?
Why not give a peno for the handball if he was in shels favour? Or did we only offer him the deal at half time!!
Id be angry if it was scored against us but you have just lost the plot??? you and another handull need to take a step back and realise there is nobody against you. Sh!t happens and it happens to everyone from time to time. Just go and beat portadown 2-0...
Eanna, from someone whose profile says "hating Shelbourne FC globally" I didn't expect anything different when it comes to comments on our victory.
A few days ago I posted that cameras on the goalposts could avoid much problems, and that things like what happened in Shels-CCFC also come along in games with much money on stake. Prophetic words... Only 2 days after my remark, what happened in Liverpool-Chelsea ??
FIFA, please accept evolution and use technical help what it's for !
I can take losing- I don't like it, but I can accept it. I just don't like being cheated. When you beat us last season, did i post this kind of thing on your board, or anywhere else? No. Because we weren't cheated.Quote:
