Josh Cullen on the bench for West Ham against Man city - didn't come on though: https://twitter.com/WestHamUtd/statu...all%2F49010516
Joshua Kayode came on as a second-half sub for Rotherham: https://www.themillers.co.uk/matches...-on-10-jul-19/
Ryan Johansson started tonight vs Arsenal. Missed him in the initial team sheet, as I was only focused on the subs, so didn’t watch the first half. Now he has been substituted. Anyone watch it?
https://www.theguardian.com/football...ine-pre-season
The Guardian name the young player to watch on each pre-season tour.
Jack Clarke of Aston Villa is named. He's down as having Irish citizenship on transfermarkt, and a middle name of Aidan. They also mention how he calls out our own Jake Doyle-Hayes as his best mate at the club. Can't find anything him on him playing for us though. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack...spieler/357663
Very positive to see Mark Travers, Aaron Connolly and Adam Idah being named as the one to watch at each of their respective clubs. Molumby could well be breathing down Aaron Connolly's neck for recognition as the one to watch at Brighton.
It's right there in your link!

Ahhhh- thanks! Will be interesting to see if he can propel himself into the 21s setup.
Ben Wilmot is mentioned in the article too and I am sure I read that he is Irish qualified.

Appears to have “held his own” middle of the Park. Agree needs loan move, like many of our youngsters
Just watched replay of the first half Bayern vs Arsenal.
Johansson was pretty impressive. Played in an advanced midfield role. Technically sound with good first touch and close control, crisp passer, creative with a couple of nice through balls, good positioning, always looking for the ball showing confidence, and can beat a man as well. Fluffed a couple of shots on goal so his shooting ability remains to be determined. He’s young and was brushed off the ball a couple of times, but expect to improve as he gets stronger. Defensive aspect to his game probably not his strongest, but obviously has plenty of time to develop this. Would need a more defensive minded midfielder alongside him.
Certainly didn't do his credentials any harm. Fingers crossed he will see more game time vs Madrid and Milan, 7/20 and 6/23, in order to put himself in the shop window for a solid loan move which he now needs to take himself to the next level. He will be 19 this season in February. Overall pretty promising and hope Ireland engage him properly in our set up in coming months.
Dara O'Shea having a good pre-season thus far at West Brom:
https://www.expressandstar.com/sport...-at-west-brom/
Once he makes an appearance at U19s 21s or senior, his change is set in stone.
Connolly starting up front for Brighton against Crawley Town. No sign of Molumby. I'm guessing he's either injured or being held back for the game against Fulham this weekend with the first teamers.

It was basically their Under 23 team and it doesn't look like he stood out at all. He was very good in Toulon but looking like he will need a loan move down the divisions if he wants first team football this season. Not sure if Molumby is still injured or if he might be involved in their first team friendly tomorrow.
Tom o connor was sub today for Southampton with smallbone obafemi and long starting
Very positive reports on Will Smallbone today.
Travers with a couple of minor errors in first half per report but still 0-0, while Kilkenny appears to have been the most impressive Bournemouth player. From their forum,
“Smith looks very sharp already, Ofoborh did very well but the star ( and surprise ) of that half for me was Kilkenny. He was almost perfect for the whole 45, some great play. Hope we get to see more of him soon. Job done son, he can’t be expected to do much more than that to recommend himself to Eddie.”
On Molumby, the only news I have found is of a “slight injury” which precluded travel to Austria 10 days ago. Obviously protracted given the fact he didn’t even play for their “under 23s” last night.
Disappointed with Brighton prospects thus far. However, Kilkenny (welcome surprise), Obafemi (a full preseason will do his hamstrings wonders!), Smallbone (looks promising), Knight (another sub appearance today), Ronan (getting better and better), O’Shea (Could be first choice for West Brom), Idah (getting better), Johansson (needs proper football this year but has promise), Masterson (took the plunge dropped down a division, and made another sub appearance today for qpr), Collins (another sub appearance today, may need loan as stoke are overburdened with center halves), Power (impressive start with Ross county, has the pace, let’s see how he develops this season) have helped ease the disappointment.
Josh barrett and manning seem to have played alot in pre season and be going well both good players
Great to hear. Both overdue an extended opportunity indeed.
Burnley split their squad for two friendlies today: Hendrick and Brady played against Port Vale: https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/...tm_medium=link, while Long and Dunne took on Crewe: https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/...tm_medium=link
Kian Flanagan played 45 minutes for Palace against Bromley (does appear to have been primarily academy players, as their main team played against Forest yesterday) https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2019/jul...ame-v-bromley/
Late minutes for Idah against Schalke: https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2019...tm_medium=link
Cullen played an hour for the Hammers against Newcastle: https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/...tm_medium=link

Hope Alli, Son and Lamela are up to scratch and manage to give Troy enough service tonight.
Playing Juventus in Singapore.
Just noted Juve team. Bonucci up against him. Buffon in goal. Ronaldo starts. Almost a full team from them. Great stuff.
Awkward game so far for Troy. Spurs have an inexperienced back 4 and it's showing. They're going backwards in possession most of the time. Spurs are getting from back to front very slowly, when they manage to. Not really ideal for a striker to have 3 centre backs happily in position when your team has the ball.
Sets up the opening goal with a great off-the-ball run into space, and a shot which Buffon could only parry
Just got subbed. Did he get injured?
This was shared over on YBIG. It's a breakdown of the Spurs goal he played a part in:

This guy seems impressed. That offside against Son was sickening for him.
I'd say he was always down to just play 45 minutes. Obviously despite the standard of opposition it is still just a pre season friendly but he played very well.
Rated best player of the first half here:

These guys are impressed alright: https://www.football.london/tottenha...mpression=true
Early days, but I wouldn't be surprised if Parrott is in the Ireland senior squad by the time the playoffs roll around next spring (if we're in them). Even a handful of senior appearances for Spurs this season would probably take him ahead of Sean Maguire and Scott Hogan in the pecking order.
Said he also had a goal disallowed unfairly. Great way to get himself set up for the coming season, playing against a major footballing giant in a quasi-competitive fixture - should have helped cleared some nerves in advance of a potential senior league debut in the coming months
I hate to say it but from what I have seen of him, he is far more talented than both of those. He's at an elite level as far as what we have produced over the years. Keane and Duff had this amazing level of ball control and time on the ball and dribbling and striking and passing... I'm not saying he will be as good as either but he does have that skill level above most.
Yeah in fairness he is at a different level to anyone else we have at the moment underage . You could play him anywhere across your front 3 or as a 10 and he has the technical ability and football brain to do it well. Will pace be an issue at the very top level? Very lucky to have him I think
He looked quick enough for the goal he was involved in today anyway. The disallowed goal he scored probably wasn't offside but the Juve defenders had pulled up when the flag went up so no guarantee he'd have scored if the game had played on.
