It's coming up alright for me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohemian_F.C.
yeah found it but only when i clicked a link for it in the eircom league part when i search for it it comes up ''There was a problem with your search. This is probably temporary; try again in a few moments, or you can search Wikipedia through an external search service:''
Tried to delete the old post before anyone saw it when i realised my mistake!!!!
That link doesn't work either, the last '.' is outside the link.

A while back I noticed the Cork City page had the opponent right for the first round in Champions League 2006, but had Apollon Limassol as being a club from Sweden. I edited that to reflect that they were Cypriot. Would've mentioned it sooner but only just now found this thread.
could a (non-biased, please :) ) UCD fan help creating an article for Darragh Ryan?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darragh_Ryan It's a start anyway.:)
Just after creating a Football League of Ireland managers category. Have added a good few managers but not all obviously (done all current ones though).
Your missing gareth cronin
and brendan rea
Nah lifes too short and im not able
:D Someone's taking the **** on the Wexford page:
:D :DQuote:
Wexford Youths' home ground at Newcastle Crossabeg has 500 car parking spaces, making the carpark the biggest in the eircom League of Ireland.
If the 500 is right, the rest of it may well be.
Who's got a bigger car park? Maybe us, but no-one else springs to mind.
Got to cling to whatever positives you can like!
There is a template for club articles available here.
I think I remember reading that in one of the local papers. Maybe someone thought it relevant to put it in because there's no real alternative parking near our ground. You wouldn't really consider parking your car in town and walking 4 or 5 km to see the game...
Seeing as it was becoming an issue for some people I edited the Wexford Youths page a bit. I changed the bit about the car parking and made it less prominent. Also tried to make it read a bit better in general.
I'm not big on the workings of Wikipedia but I'm learning some of the stuff. I might try edit it a bit more if I get some time. It's not looking too bad though at the moment I think.
Ok added a bit more and I think I've corrected a good bit of the spelling and that sort of thing.
Anyone got any feedback on how it reads or what could be added?
Thanks for that, I think a lot of the fixtures/news was put in early on when the official website hadn't been launched. The latest news section is certainly out of place in an encyclopedia but would be tempted to keep the fixture list for this season.
I've just started a WikiProject for Irish football if anyone would like to participate. It's still in its early stages, but you're all are free to join and express any ideas you feel would help.
You'll find it here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...Irish_Football
Added myself.
I've updated the project page a bit and created a few new templates (for use on user-pages and talk-pages) to help direct people towards the page.
Update: I currently have the Derry City article under peer-review with the hope of raising it to 'featured article' status.
Be nice to see that arriving in my Inbox some morning. ;)
Anyone else having a problem with people constantly changing the Wikipedia page of their club?
The Wexford Youths page has been changes loads of times by Dundalk fans. Some of the references I had added to back up material have been deleted and I don't want to go looking for them again. Obviously some others are trying to correct the malicious edits too but some relevant stuff is being lost. It's constant and really annoying!
The Derry City article has been nominated for 'featured article' status.
Also, an article improvement drive has been created as part of the WikiProject.
Update: The Derry City F.C. article has now achieved FA status.
I've added a few things to the Galway United page. Anyone know how many caps Seamus McDonagh got for Ireland?
25 Games and 0 Goals.
Can anyone help out a bit with the Wexford Youths page?
It was reviewed and since then I've tried to follow the advice in the review and fix up the article a bit. Someone else has also been tidying it up, but, I think they've deleted a lot of the history section unnecessarily. I reinstated the parts that I though were relevant only for the same guy to delete them again.
The history section is mentioned by the guy who did the rating, but, he only suggested making it more connected and easier to read, while making it less POV. I can't see why this other guy deletes the references to first games in league and cups as well as first goal, attendance and other events such as official website and supporters club. I don't think they were POV, they were referenced and, I feel anyway, relevant to history section. Maybe I'm totally wrong.
Would someone with a bit more know how mind having a look? Thanks.
