I actually thought Bray were not that bad, some of the Rovers goals were excellent and they got over run for that short spell and conceded 3.
Bit like us at Bohs on opening night. I can easily see how they held Dundalk on opening night , at half time the game in Tallaght was in the balance.
Kavanagh looked superb , Clarke and him on the wing..if I was the Limerick rightback id be ringing in sick :)
What happens to artificial turf in freezing conditions?

is it me but I didn't see last nights goals online on soccer republic on rte app on my mobile at all?
just finished work in Dublin and going to bohs match.. except for odd sleet shower nothing stuck today at all!
Dundalk to flog limerick tonight. It will be over by halftime.
Dundalk 2-0 up after 10 mins.
So 3 matches gone cork 4 clear of dundalk and 5 of rovers. Cummins banging them in , it's corks to lose :)
6-0 Dundalk. Limerick fans amusing themselves by..er..throwing snowballs at the linesman and getting a talking to from the Gardai. Now that is a #GLITW moment.
7-0 Dundalk
Score when it's snowing, You only score when it's snowing, score when it's snoooowwing
Oof. Worst loss in quite a while.
And Dundalk fans had the gall to complain that Sligo 'bent over' for us last night....
The team that can't be named will no doubt be relegated this season despite their good start. Neil McDonald was the worst thing to happen them. Stayed up last season and then he doesn't bother signing the likes of tosi and hery again
Dundalk 8-0 Limerick
Bohs 0-1 Derry
Bohs missed a late penalty.
Is that the worst Premier defeat since that wojus Galway team? And did they ship 8? They must have; surely?
We have to write Dundalk and Cork off, if we got 1 win from 8 that would be a result, and just try to concentrate on the 5 or 6 teams we will have a chance against. On night's like these you have to look at the positives. Little did I think that when Mr Stokes decided to not only score a 90th min equalizer but to then change direction and run 50 yards to slide in front of the home fans that karma would take a matter of 3 days. Not so hot from the spot Sir :shout:.
Poor Limerick...
Important win for Derry, with Dundalk up next they could have been fairly adrift after just 2 weeks of the season.
I was sitting behind a couple of lads in FAI coats and I could have sworn I heard them discussing an eight team premier division.
Results are all over the shop already.....which is nice.
How many games in was Martin Russell sacked last year and could Tommy Barrett suffer the same fate?
Seriously though, what age is Mark O'Sullivan:confused::rolleyes: What an absolute a hole.
Super win tonight and believe me,imo,Lims got away lightly with 8-0.
About time Dundalk got going and they done it in superb fashion.
8-0 is obviously atrocious, but I wouldn't think a single Limerick fan or anybody associated with the club expected anything other than a defeat. Even if we get easily beaten by Rovers, which is likely, I don't think he'd be sacked so soon.
Very different from Russell in that Russell had the spine of his team from the season before, had the whole pre-season to prepare, and more money at his disposal too, by all accounts.
I think the perception was that Russell wasn't getting (and wouldn't ever get) the best out of his squad, but in this case, the squad simply isn't good enough at all, and has no depth whatsoever.
