You're gas... somehow if you pox Rovers and get a home draw, you might actually get more than 24 people at Flancare for a game.

Anyone know when the semi final draw is on ? Those matches usually scheduled for the August BH weekend, usually that Monday.
to be honest the Galway Utd from the past is the present form. so whateva galway trophies won in the past is valid in their history!
Not according to the genius above, although he didn't mention Cork City along with ourselves for some reason. I think I know why though... Listen sorry but you're far too irrelevant to manifest some sort of rivalry with, try Cabinteely, you both probably have a similar amount of Dub journeymen in your team along with a few of our cast offs.
Hold on there now and leave Cabo out of this , what have they ever done : )
Rovers win 1 nil. Should have been more but the way things have been going a wins a win : )
When is the semi draw. ?
It is already nailed on that it will be Cork at home to Dundalk!
This attempt to create a Galway-Longford rivalry is my favourite since some Sligo fans on here tried to kick off a rivalry with Finn Harps and the Harps fans laughed at them.
It was good to see Boyd, Dillon Haney, English etc get a bit of game time they are all good players that have a decent future ahead of them.
Dillon is normally a great finisher, missed a few last night.
9 changes from last Friday but several of those who came in are really first teamers. Longford were ok on the night you could see that they are running into form a bit. Still think Clarke is a phenomenal player hopefully we can hang on to him.
19 years ago. Some of our current side weren't even born.

You've lost on penalties up here too. Behan, of all people, missed when we beat ye in the Cup in 2008.
Semi Final draw:
Rovers vs City
Galway vs Dundalk
Rovers v Cork will be a tasty affair, glad we avoided that side of the draw, although Galway will have no fears playing Dundalk, think they have beaten us in our last two visits there, both in the league, and a EA Sports cup semi in 2015 on pens.
Both matches set for August BH Monday.
A lot could have changed for the clubs by the time these games come along.
Rovers, Cork and Dundalk could all still be in Europe and/or title race. Galway could be bottom of the league.
The FAI Cup is the following weekend so it probably won't be the priority for most.
A semi final is a semi final, Rovers will be up for it.
Hope we still have Trevor Clarke by then
I agree! It is good to keep the trophies ticking over even the EA Cup and LSC as it helps foster that know how to win or get it over the line thinking.
Seems a bit nuts not to get these games outof the way in May/early June before Europe kicks in for 3 of the teams
Galway United v Dundalk FC - 4PM
Shamrock Rovers v Cork City - 7PM
The semis must be coming along soon........
Dundalk cruising into the final. When is the final scheduled for? Usually mid September I think.
