gufct I bet you loved The X Files
'Cos they don't have any proper PR channels. Basically. I know that's why we wouldn't have made an announcement. Shows how far behind some clubs are in some ways...Quote:

GUFUt I always like to read your posts but one thing does come across and that is a deep dislike for the fai and admin of the league to the point it appears that it is eating ou up - let it go man - for your own good.
I presume SHels are on teh FAI official mailing list as Fintan also gets the suspensions lists etc pretty quick.
The clubs that failed .... why did they fail ?
Are they things that can be fixed in near future ?
hang on a sec ... just warming up my crystal ball ...... I see a crest ......

We got our license
The story at Dublin City seems to be that just one form needs to be sent in, will be done so on Monday and that'll be it sorted.
from the FAI Press Release:Quote:

In any case, a first division club could not be awarded a premier license as they can't apply for one. While techincally you can be relegated or even kicked out of the league for not getting a license you can't get promoted or into Europe on the back of one.
I also am amazed that Shamrock Rovers got the license, if only because of what Rovers fans post on here. If any club (not just Rovers) gets into serious dufficulty covering wages this year the credibilty of this process will be damaged, but then again, if we go a season without major financial problems anywhere in the league it'll be a major step forward for the eL.
Hang on - there's only one DCFC, and they got their license.Quote:
