But what do you really think Ballistinianlad?
Ya feels like your holding back
Don't see too much wrong with the report. Carew look a shadow of last years team and fairview looked to have greatly improved, they have pace everywhere and should be contenders this year, it could have been a lot more than 5.
Have Carew many to come back?? Otherwise dey are in serious trouble
They looked to be missing a few alright, Dillon wasn't there and Grant and Mc grath didn't start, that's 3 important players from last season and i'm sure they were missing a few more, the manner of the defeat is worrying if you are a Carew supporter i'd imagine as they were blown away but you'd have to give Fairview credit for that, they look a different side to last season. The manager seemed to improve the dines every year he was there and he might be repeating the trick above in the view.
Hahaha I was ranting to be fair. Ah no the reports grand it's just his little dig at the Carew manager again. No need especially when we all know that's it's more personal than anything else.
Looks like the fairview manager won't be getting sacked so lads
Did you not read your mans preview of the season. It's on page 1.
Stability my eye, they want trophies, same as every other club. One of the most decorated clubs in junior history in this country want trophies. Looks like they've a great squad and the battles with Janesboro and Pike are ones to look forward to. I see Moyross got off the mark too last night, they'll be hard to beat at home by the looks of it.
I was at the game last night. Fairview looked like they could have rightly embarressed Carew if they put away some guilted missed chances especially in the second half (5-0 is still a hiding). Carew just didnt look up for the game at all and i think any side that don't turn up against fairview will be in trouble. Carew look under serious pressure already so they'l need a serious response against Pike in their next game. On another note, they was four Kerry lads in the Fairview starting line-up. Good to see fellow Kerrymen in the league :) Paul o donnell seems to have picked from an untapped market, suprised nobody else has tried.
another excellent report and having watched the game a very comfortable victory for fairview who looked very impressive from start to finish.
So Pike, Boro or Fairview for the league?
Second and last time I'm saying this, just to make it 100% clear lads, personal insults will be met head on by me with a suspension or a ban, don't say you weren't warned.
Some predictions for tomorrows games lads
nenagh 3-1 moyross
geraldines 0-6 fairview
carew 1-4 pike
janesboro 4-0 kilmallock
Both Carew park and Geraldines management must be under serious pressure to get a few wins on the board otherwise i can see both been disposed of sooner rather than later
You think? Rarely happens in junior football. Don't think I could even give you an example of a manager being sacked during a season. I'll stand corrected though.
Dermot Finnan stands as a recent high-profile example.
What time Carew game on lads??
Ah yes, Finnan. And Ray McMahon and Balla parted company mid season a few years back as well.
Carew 1 Pike 1
Any upcoming podcasts Alan? And when do the Leader columns start? Serious questions now, not having a go.

A little third-tier action, if anyone's interested. Outside the remit of this thread slightly, but you won't get on my case for that now, will you?....
This is all getting a bit boring, can everyone just move on and start talking about what matters, that being the football? I find this forum great for keeping up to date with all the games, signings etc. A lot of goals scored so far this season and some surprising results. Pike looking strong to win the league but credit to Fairview they have started strong also. Any opinions at this early stage who will win the league and who will go down? What's the update on Summerville?
Pike to win the league and Fairview to follow them home, Boros back 4 will be their downfall again and I'm not certain their new managers harsh management style will wash well down there, wouldn't surprise me if it blew up at some stage.
I think Summerville are going playing 2 matches the first of which is against Fairview on Sunday and then pulling out, fancy kilmallock to go with them, shipping a lot of goals although they have had a very tough start fixture wise.
Going by the reports Pike are scoring for fun. Hard to see past them.
Pike only scored 1 last Sunday ......think fairview have great chance
Pike to win the league for me and Geraldines to be joining Summerville in 1a next season
LDL Premier Division Statistics 2016/17
Said I'd make a start on this now, while things are relatively quiet. Any mistakes, let me know...
Pike to win the league and fairview runners up, boro look very average i don't see any improvement since Aidan ryan took over.
Pike to be ran very close by fairview and boro. As long as you have clarke on your team he can win games on his own no matter what manager is in charge. Pike are strong but not been overly impressed so far but it is early days. Fairview looked very impressive in their opening two games and heard they struggled against dines. Neverthelss, no goals conceded looks positive from last season. Nenagh could have a big say and will take points from the big teams.
Pike
Fairview
Boro
Nenagh
Predictions for tonight:
Carew
Nenagh
Pike
Boro
Fairview
Right lads, next post here that's not directly football match related gets a months ban,try me.
If this doesn't work there won't be a Limerick Premier thread here this season.
Summerville 1 Ballynanty 3
Pike 5 Geraldines 0
Moyross 1 Janesboro 4
Kilmallock 4 Carew Park 3
Regional 4 Fairview 2
Annacotty 2 Nenagh 0
Updated table too...

carew look out of contention for the league new signings didn't work, boro don't look to have improved that much, bad defeat for fairview and nenagh but I think both will improve , can't see anyone touching pike rovers they have a very good squad.
The Boro are the only ones with a 100% record left
