Sorry I was told 300, 6 points is very hefty, I'm struggling to think of any precedent to go by. Usually just 3 points

Rule 41 no two teams from the same club can play in the same division/ rule 47 teams not fulfillin fixture to be fined 125 euro and deducted 6 points burren utd gave walkover recently in 2nd division dont see any punishement on league website / rule 97b all suspenions to be posted weekly on website check last date/ rule 100 all club team managers must have coaching qualifications so very suprised league can quote rules to clubs when handin out punishment
Apologies suspensions have been updated on league website recently but numerous players already served bans before it was even updated???
Burren United have been thrown out of the league as per league rules. 2 walkover and your out. Kilkishen celtic played with 9 men last Sunday so as to not get kicked out of league too . It's a sad state of affairs when lads sign a form and then won't turn up for their club.
Committee probably don't get match cards until late in the week. Therefore if they don't meet until following week to discuss possible suspensions then how can they be updated weekly. You should probably put yourself forward for the committee. They could obviously do with someone like you helping out 😉😉
Voluntary or not they made the rule all suspenions would be up on website weekly dont make rules if you cant honour them?? In fairness puttin suspended players up on website probally helps stamp out clubs trying to play the same players while suspended. As for teams with managers with no qualifactions plenty of them out there and should be easy enough for league to identify them.
Agreed not fair on the people who are trying to keep clubs running. As for the inside information it was common knowledge in Ennis on Wednesday night. Very sad as a great facility out there.
What's your opinion on hibs situation with the fine and 6 point deduction.
Was there any punishment for moher b for failing to fulfill any fixture in the shield?
I think it is extremly harsh. I know rule in place but league should look at every protest and judge on all the evidance presented. but they have set the Law now and amy other clubs will have to get same punishement. Fine and 3 point deduction would have been enough what do u think yourself
I think it was harsh . But at the same time if a player gets a straight red it very rarely results in just a 1 game ban. Maybe someone should have made a call to league as I'm sure they could have done without Jamie for Olympic game. Which the score suggests. I'd prefer to be missing him for that game than a tougher team. No disrespect to Olympic b.
I think Hibs at fault for not contactin league a quick phone call would have had it sorted, they probally thought it was like limerick league were they send out letter to club to confirm suspenions, they only brought jamie on at half time as well when 2-1 up. Very costly mistake :'(
Never heard of the shield being optional. In a lot of the rules they talk about the season. The shield is part of the season so same rules should apply. The shield is played at the start of the season to accommodate certain teams who are missing players to GAA. Moher b took no part but weren't fined or deducted points?
The shield is optional. Teams decide not to enter beforehand. Mountshannon and various other teams sometimes don't enter it. Once fixtures are made you are obliged to fulfil these fixtures.
very strange then that clare league website has results for fixtures on 14.08.16... I have edited to 3rd division and moher included ??

Group B
Shannon Hibs 6-0 Sporting Ennistymon B*
Moher Celtic B P-P Shannon Town B*
My point exactly. Think it's time for people to stop making excuses for the clare league. The whole idea of starting with the shield was to accommodate these Gaa filled teams. If they are not gonna bother entering the shield they just start with the league. Also no punishment for giving walkovers? Before anyone comes back saying go to the AGM i will be but its not until June
Congratulations to Stephen Kelly on his nomination as Junior international Player of the Year. Great achievement for the player and his club. The club and their progress is doing great work highlighting the standard of player in the county from underage to junior and deserve a lot of credit for the approach they are taking.
Planners you must be very proud.
We as a consortium are glad that Rineanna had sculpted Stephens career and passed on the finished product to NOF - i would imagine any monies that NOF wold receive from royalties would obviously be shared / rewarded to Rineanna !
One member of this consortium could have had the same opportunity but due to injury unfortunately missed out , but i'm sure that member of this consortium is happy that his soccer prowess was taken on board and copied , its great to see what young fellows can learn from their elders
14 cards issued at shannon town vs bridge yesterday.
sounds like an ill tempered one, town still on course for the title.
well done stephen kelly . e.hayes surely deserved a shout as well
