I'm feeling weirdly optimistic. The Belarus game aside, which was a weakened side, this team has being coming together very nicely and playing good football. There's a sense of purpose that wasn't there in 2012, yet less expectation on their backs too.
I'm going for a 2-0 victory - Zlatan tamed, and Shane Long / Brady providing the goals.
This is all based on nothing but my imagination, but fingers crossed.

A solid half. Need to take some of these chances, but solid. Sweden are there for the taking.
Those four misses are going to haunt us when this is all said and done, I just know it. O'Shea's especially. Other than that trifling concern, it's all been quite good. Defence has held up, bar Coleman's brief slip, Randolph looks confident, Hendrick doing well. Swedes forced into an early change, might disrupt the HT plans.
Pitch starting to resemble Jackman. Wonder who that suits?
Whelan has been fcking immense. There I said it.
McCarthy has been poison, as has Coleman on the ball. Walters, Long getting very little change from the Swedish defense. Overall a fantastic performance. The goals must come.
They said something like, Zlatan scores or makes 75% of Sweden's goals, so when he is kept quiet, as he has so far, Sweden look decidedly ordinary. Got to keep him quiet for the full 90 though. Want to vomit with the nerves.
Will people stop saying nice things about our performance. Making me I'll with nerves.

Good performance but a really disappointing result.
2 points dropped really, we were easily the better team for most of it, but let them back into it. Very annoyed we didn't have more of a go in the last 5 minutes.

Some strange things in that game. Olson coming down our right defensive side like he was a property developer !...Why bring on Keane ; We needed someone who could hold the ball up (have we a sub that could do that)
Who was in front of Coleman to give him some protection.
Walters deffo not fit but we probably needed him on the field.

Disgusted. Surrendered all of the initiative, all of their composure, all of their confidence after scoring. Can only imagine the flaking Keane is handing out. Need at least 2 from Belgium and Italy.
So O'Neill said Hoolahan signalled to bench he had to come off after cramping up.
We need to make a like for like change then. Ward to left back and Brady moved to Hoolahan's position.
Don't know why Tony O'Donoghue is congratulating MON. Is he aware that we didn't win? In any case I think we let this one slip. Should have been ahead at half time. Was a very good performance until we scored. I still think we can get draws off of Italy and Belgium. Don't know where that would leave us though.
Without saying I told you so, but I went on record many times to say Clark would make mistakes and cost us dearly in games.
Many said he will mature and get such mistakes out of his game, I argued that would not be the case.
He's just headed our quick return ticket home from the Euro 2016
