Thank you. I've a couple of ideas for next week but I'm not going to nail my colours to the mast yet!
Deadly man, I really appreciate you coming on to say that. Genuinely means a lot. I'm actually a little embarrassed about laboring the financial backing point again on the third episode, to be honest.
Sometimes the jibes disguised as praise for other (remunerated) folk gets to me, which is a weakness I need to overcome.
Thanks again.
P.S. I think Keith was a fantastic guest. Spoke really well.

Janesboro 1-0 Pike Rovers: Brazier dents Pike title hopes

Cheers. I've been singing Mark's praises for years in my work, only to be met with apathy at best and derision at worst. In a season where Carew's defence is likely to win them the league, others have finally sat up and took notice.
His continued exclusion from Oscar Traynor squads is something I mentioned on Facebook. There is no footballing explanation for it. Any manager who actually knows the game wouldn't dare overlook him.
Great report Alan.thought Culhane had decent game last night also.clarke done excellent for goal.i thought janesboro would win league from start with squad they had so questions have to be asked as to what went wrong..hopefully carew see it out now. Keep up reports as they are quality reading..
Great report as usual....janesboro team missing a few i see.good point for carew considering game almost over.
Congratulations to all at Carew Park, well deserved lads
Mick Sheil, like Gareth and Damien, is also stepping down from his position as manager of Pike Rovers. I relate to and admire Mick for how frank he is in his dealings with people and for the professionalism he has brought to the junior soccer scene. Both qualities can be lacking at times in this town. He is therefore a loss to our league and I wish him the very best in the future.
Tierney, with 5 goals in 12 league starts (the exact same record as Conor Lynch), did not even come close to inclusion. Even the 'Boro diehards aren't complaining about that. You'd be fairly alone in thinking he had an excellent season, I'm afraid.
Clarke's league form, with 11 goals in 16 games (including penalties), was extremely underwhelming until the last few games. Felt that he was playing way below capacity for the majority of the season.
Would agree with AOB on tierney, though thought Clarke would make it....all about opinions .great reports all season AOB thanks ,a super read always.
No problem. Thanks for your support over the years. Always gives me a boost.
Fair play AlanOB, even though I'm more interested in Limerick FC and Desmond League, I still follow this thread to keep updated on District league, well done.
