I don't think umbro have made any of the LOI kits they have this season in long sleeve. I certainly don't think we have one, as noticed a few players wear the white long sleeve Lycra thing under it.
I can't understand why there is no long sleeve option as march, april, sept & oct are all cold enough. I definitely always preferred the long shirt when I played football.

They came out just before the end of the season and there was huge demand from our fans. I wear that to games now as do many others. It's brilliant to have the retro option.Quote:

Someone from Sligo told me years ago that it was to honour a club volunteer who died. I think it was about five years ago. I thought it was intended to be a temporary thing to pay respects etc. However, it appears to be a permanent fixture now.Quote:

Now don't get me wrong, I like the top, return to retro and I remember that jersey well in the late 70's and it was worn by very distinguished players, but guys, the star in that position and colour is standard for one thing only. 10 or more league titles in the league you play in.
Man City added two stars to their crest in the late 90s/early 2000s just because they thought it looked good.
