yes your right but it is what it is,also the big move to msl from aul of the other 3 might be a plus .there is now a so called big 5 in premier.

Castleview won't sort out there probloms there a senior team so all there best players go senior a prime example of why cork teams have a very hard time trying to win the fai junior ! I don't know about classing pearse as a big 5 team were only up out of premier a so we need to establish ourselves first.
you have the players ..you play football and when player.s see that they will want to sign .always a plus if the clubs want to play or hump the high ball.lumping a ball gone to msl with 2 of the teams that went over to msl notice how i say over and not up.wilton play football a great club.my opinion.
Donie let's be fare we beat a killumney team short a few were up premier a few weeks so I can't understand why you would make us favourites.yes I think we're a good side but maybe teams are just underestimating us a dangerous thing todo with any team! Personnaly I would have killumney favourites
Thanks for the support in that but our lack of experience in big games could catch us out. Saturday will tell a lot now .blarney st are a very good side and not a lot being said about them thus year compared to other years so I reckon they have a great shout of picking up silverware
I make it a big 6, with Glen Celtic there on top of the 5 mentioned above...
There not even in same division, people need get a grip with all the boasting of How good the Glen Celtic are. Lets see how they get on in the their remaining cup ties and have a decent few league games played before we declare their greatness.
Sly dig at my posting abilities
,harsh...but fair! Anyway I have read the other posts I couldn't honestly give an opinion on who is a top 5 team this year as only returned playing to the Aul this season. I know alot about the mjc and Fai junior cup as at my previous club they were high on our objectives and reach the closing stages once or twice, from the teams I've played so far this year which were mostly from premier and premier A I would say a cork Aul team would be doing very well to get the last 16 of Fai or last 4 of mjc. Hopefully I'm proved wrong though
When the aul team back in action ?my gaffer just informed us there Shane Spitere called up to the squad
Joycey also called up from Killumney
Heard this aswell while ago Adam Geaney got the call this morning.
Ok let's get over the joke geaney technically very good but not the greatest for donkey work as hell admit himself but you can't have a team full of work horses you need a spark fair play to Adam if true but I find it hard to believe as I saw him on the bench for the street
The bottom line is lads, the AUL is gone to the dogs which i'm sad to say and see. The organisation, state of pitches and the current standard make it all so. I still go and watch the games but outside of the AUL circle/diehearts there no interest which can't be said for the MSL.
The reality is that for any of those clubs to progress it won't be about winning a league or cup in the AUL but rather going senior and trying to get to Div 1 or the Premier.
i know for a fact that many AUL teams are considering making the move (springfield and Kanturk to name 2) and with 3 gone from last year what will be left. Surely Kilumney, Coachford etc would want to do the same or would they just be happy to batter rubbish teams in mickey mouse competitions by cricket scores which is currently the case.
It's time for 1 soccer league in Cork governing all adult grades, well at least for the future of the Aul
Heard he's only on the bench because he was finding it hard to train with work commitments, heard he had a good session for the AUL last night so it must be true alright
One for Come up to buttevant vs Bweeng in buttevant total football ill get you a pint back in Bweeng ha ha ha
