Currently drafting but seems that the same people have the same pick each round.
My mate also was there for the draft and said that to me today Real ale, small bit unfair surely? I'm happy enough with what I got, but if there was to be a new draft I'd not object either. Is it necessary and possible?
So what's the outcome of yesterday - are we drafting again ?
Edit - just saw your post there Clifford - I'm not sure if we can re-draft, think its just an error somewhere - we should re-draft though if its possible. I had the 12th pick in each round. Worse again for the 13th and 14th pick. Usually the guy in 14th would pick last in round 1 and first in round 2 so essentially he/she would have 2 picks in a row.
Sorry about the mix up with the draft order. I set the draft a month ago and forgot to recheck if I put it linear or snake. I can redo the draft but it will have to be done Wednesday night at the latest.
Can set it to Wed at 8pm if most people agree.( I have sent an e-mail to all league members)
No harm done at all Wex, without you it wouldn't happen at all. Suits me fine for Weds. Was a bit too good to be true on paper as I had RG111 who might come good, but had Shady and Foster at RB and Garcon, Welker, Floyd, Bradshaw which was pleasing. I was number two on the list apparently! Thought it was a bit decent all right.
See y'all Wed night.
Its been a long long time since I've seen a Patriots team take such a licking as they did last night. The Worst defeat in 11 years. Brady out of sync with offence, O line slow, D line porous, same problems as years gone by in the secondary. 2-2 is not a record that would say you rule them out but this is one hell of a hole they have dug for themselves - the hoodie has a huge job on his hands here to get this team into the play-offs.
13 consecutive years with a winning record, 11 play-off apprearances, 8 AFC Championship game appearances, 5 Superbowl appearances and 3 Superbowls later - is this the end of the Brady / Belichick era?
Bradys quality has papered over the cracks in the last number of years. A shake up is definately overdue, the problem is its not easy to remove some one of Belichick or Bradys stature, so any changes will be behind the scenes.
Its not easy to replace a franchise QB, so Brady isnt going anywhere until then. I wasnt suprised to see them take Garropollo this year. They'll be keeping a good eye on QBs in the draft this year too. Not everyone can be as lucky as Indianapolis.
Our D struggled to begin with last night. Thank God we have Peyton. We eventually just powered through Arizona.
Seems to be the theme so far this year.
God I love Tom Brady. Thats probably a bit OTT but I do love him - in a Patsy Freyne / Padraig Harrington type worship way. What a player and what a competitior. Listening to him as I do every Monday evening on his WEEI weekly Radio interview - you could tell this performance meant something to him, the "Hoodie" and the whole team.
The Pats were as awesome Sunday night as they were poor the previous Monday. It will be very interesting to see how they follow up this week in Buffalo - where historically they don't have a great record and playing an opponent high on confidence.
Schedule looks tough so wins in next 3 games - Bills / Jets / Bears are essential before a November that sees them take on the Broncos / Lions / @Packers and @Colts!
Detroit v Atlanta live from Wembley on Channel 4 now.
Big Ben has the most 500 yard games of all time now after yesterday....
And he's still a scumbag. I haven't been able to warm to the Steelers in a long time since his "incident",
what the rape thing? thats half the league sadly.
Colt McCoy beats Dallas in Big D last night....thats why that sport is so hard to bet on.
Huge game this weekend between Brady and Peyton.
They deserved to be beaten after allowing Romo back on. I was delighted because of that.
Its amazing how many yards TY has recieving for Indy with just one TD. Killing fantasy owners. I think Indy coming off that debacle vs Pitt really blows out the Giants on Mon night.
Interesting game is Cards and Dallas, Romo says he will play. Cards coach coach of the year easily.
The Irish need some dominos to fall this weekend In College.
I amend that TR has some back issues again.....looks good for Cards either way.
Cards Colts parlay lads. Easy cash. I wouldnt be surprised if the jets somehow won.
Let's put 50 on the Broncos!
Denver is being exposed. Cards 7-1.
Close one RaM.
Crosby, is there any reason we always seem to play NE in Boston?
just looked it up, the last 3 reg season games have been in Boston which does seem kind of odd.
Do they flip the scheduling; that we would have been due to play them in Mile High this regular season but as we played them in the Play-offs last year in Mile High it reverts to Foxboro at the next game ie. this Reg season?
Nah. Like for example the Jets played in Oakland like 6 times in a row recently I think. There's a lot that goes into scheduling, its just the way it works out.
That's what I find so bizarre. Given the complexities of the scheduling and how much effort they put into it it's just mental that this match-up continues to be played in Boston.
Its funny, there is a married couple that has been making the schedules for like 20 years. They spread everything out on their living room floor. Ive seen a tv spot about it.
It is odd and is explained here:

Explained away more like. :P
OK. Who is betting? Me. The Giants are awful. Going all the way to SEA. SEA not playing like last year when they were champs.
None the less? SEA hurting and looking for a vamp.
Giants perfect slap. Giants not playing well and hurting....easy money lads..
Other than that? Hey Mark Sanchez is going to be so great for Philly? My Spidey sense is tingling guys!
Mark Sanchez who threw 2 picks last week? Dunno about that!
Opinions on my 4 team accum for week 10.
Steelers (-3.5) 10/11 @ Jets
Ravens (-10.0) Evs v Titans
Lions (-2.5) 10/13 v Dolphins
Cardinals (-7) 10/11 v Rams
The Jets apart from a good performance in New England have been poor lately - hard to see them turning it around against heavy scoring Steelers.
Ravens spread is high but they will be desperate for a home win after 2 narrow losses to divison rivals
Lions / Fins is a close call and is probably going to scupper me, but Lions are just winning at the moment so they have the edge I hope.
Rams are on the road for 3rd straight week - so I don't think they are good enough to follow up after last weeks sensational win in the Bay area. Cardinals are scoring pretty heavily and were impressive last week I thought.
10 euro accum brings home a few cent shy of 140 euros with PP.
Steelers look terrible. Bad bet for you. Don't discount home underdogs vs team in the same conf.
Giants are shocking me right now. Sea really took a step back this off season.
Last year was their one year. They clicked at the right time. Similar to Liverpool in the EPL last season. They needed to win when presented with the chance.
Broncos will win the SB this year. No one else impressing me. Well, maybe the Rams, but that will end in tears. No harm losing in Foxborough against NFL's team.
Peyton can have another clunker though. You don't think the cards are for real?
The Giants need a new coach. Nick Saban? He used to work there under Parcells.
I did forget about the Cardinals and I had intended to come back and rectify it but I got waylaid by the hockey.
3-3 in the second!
Funny how the Rams **** the bed there tonight just as I opened my gob.
You are supposed to critique bets before the events not after. Easy to be wise after the event.
Anyhow 3 / 4 was not bad and Steelers beat themselves rather than anything extra-ordinary the Jets did. Will have a go at this every week for the rest of the season if anyone is interested.
I'd be very slow to write off the Seahawks at this this stage - not playing great and they are 6-3. Although they are not nearly as intimidating as they were last year.
I felt sorry for the Rams late on - they have had a tough schedule lately. Kept it together last week - couldn't do it last night.
Rams are the only div with 4 good teams, some dont have any good teams.
Sunday has some interesting games:
I need to see Mark Sanchez, the new hero of Philadelphia, go into Lambeau and win. Until them I'm taking the Pack.
Think the Vikings are a good pick right now. Bears are awful.
Lions might take it to Arizona. Stanton is not a high % QB. That's a problem vs Suh and Co.
Colts Pats is a toss up. I would be tempted to take Indy if it was a pick em but i don't want to lay any points to Tom Brady.
I think my best bet is the Broncos. Rams going back to Hill at QB....he is not good. Only problem with spreads like that on the raod is if the Rams score a TD first you are kind of chasing it all day, unless its going to be one of those times PM throws for 6 TDs and it won't matter.
Giants stink but that start time coupled with another x country trip for SF and the injuries they have, plus how cold its going to be here....be careful betting SF....Have a feeling Giants will grind one out. Kapernack kind of sucks too.
Thank God for Miss State and Alabama tmrw. Takes the sting out of me taking time off again to watch Ireland lose 1-0. I'm not doing that anymore. Sorry to bitch and moan. But it's not fun enough to justify using my comp time!!! They need to put these games on saturday.
What are your thoughts on week 11 lads? Texans need a win. Atl needs a win.
These packers unis are hideous!
