Ports get one back, Kevin Braniff
Cliftonville 1 up 49'
I went onto RTÉ.ie for the results there. ha ah ah. Good one eh.
Couple of great goals for Bohs, there's some very talented young players in their squad. Shame to see the Dalymount pitch in such a state, made it very difficult for both sides to play football.
Cliftonville v Pats Highlights:

Looked like a very good game. Don't know how Pat's didn't score!
Here's a performance analysis of Bohemians v Portadown, looking specifically at 19 year old Daniel Joyce and Portadown's Neil McCafferty

Pats were very unlucky by the looks of it I'd back them to overturn it.
I noticed this on the reports on ceefax last night. Same thing still on the web, as well as a 404 instead of the other report
This is what happens when you use cut and paste
Just in case they correct it.
Unfortunatley the other report seems to be unavailable - the link currently on the home page is broken - but the, remarkably similar, first paragraph told of how bohs now hold a one goal advantage.Quote:

Anyone know if away goals count?
The St Pat's V Cliftonville game on Monday has been brought forward to 7.35pm for live coverage on Setanta
Curious about attendances, anyone know what they were?
It's sad that the Setanta Cup isn't promoted more.
Just had a look at those highlights - Liam Boyce's goal was well taken, even if the keeper might've been better.
Who was the Pats guy who missed the sitter? wow
Thats a pretty good crowd up from Dublin on a monday night.
Its easier from Dublin to Belfast than it is from Cork to Belfast. Some of our away crowds in the competition were as low as 24 (i Counted) up too 400 in Linfield on a Tuesday night. Big away crowd for our first cross border game with Portadown in 05 but i cant remember numbers.
Pitch inspection at The Oval at 1.30
That's incorrect.
It's as normal with away goals counting after 90 mins. This is covered in the Competition Regulations which were sent out last week.
I could see the Ports v Bohs game going to ET - Pat's will probably qualify in 90 but a goal for Cliftonville could make it tricky.
I think the competition this season has the potential to be as good as it's ever been. Setanta showing a few of the early games and the knockout system is better than the drawn out group stage where teams lost interest.
There was a good few standing underneath the old stand too maybe it was difficult to see how many were actually there from the away end. Was a poor enough crowd but we have quite erratic form at the moment and also that we played Pats last year as well didn't help I'm sure. There should be a decent enough crowd of reds fans down in Dublin tonight.
Climville fans were by far the best away support (atmosphere wise) last year in Oriel. Some craic in the bar and the Gerry Adams masks. :D

Fighting sleep (stupidly watched the borefest on Saturday night/sunday morning) and Bucko's boys are not helping. No cutting edge, closed down to easy and now Kenny B. misses a given goal. Russell is impressive though.
Pats 1 down and down to 10 men
Russell after having an impressive game, gets send off harshly. Pats playing attractive football, great to have Buckley back managing in the LoI, althought looks like they are going to lose tonight.
Some great football by St Pats. Sending off finished the game for them, though they should have been 4 or 5 up at HT
Derry 3 up
Bohs 1 up
