Yeah, never a penalty!

Ger O' Brien could be James Beattie's identical twin!!
Hancock did his best to ruin that game today. He was pathetic once again.
We were poor, but Bohs were very limited in all honesty.
Great to be heading to the Aviva again but the disappointment of the league still lingers a small bit.
Very small home crowd today I thought. Sad to see.
You'd think with 11 groundskeepers that the pitch would've been in better condition
Poor match yesterday. Very disappointed in Sligo. But a win is a win.
To be fair Bohs did defend well and were quick to break up play. Found it a better game than the Pats one to be honest.
Fair dues to RTE, for a change. Three LOI games in a week, wow that felt good
Due to suspensions (will clubs ever change that rule ?) and injury Bohs were down to bare bones and were very limited in attacking options (Brennan was clearly not fit) and Sligo -without ever playing well - deserved the win. Overall a poor game with very few chances for either team. Sligo (especially in second half) looked more likely to nick a goal. No surprise either that it was a sloppy enough goal when it came.
best of luck to Sligo in the final (FAI Cup is fast becoming to them what League Cup is to Derry :))
Winning it 6 years in a row would lend itself to the monicker.
Is it tonight yet?
Come on!!!!!!!
Atrocious stuff from Hancock, both sides were poor on the ball, but the referee exacerbated it.
Hope Pats win the cup just cos they have Kav.
will there be any radio coverage or anything for this?
Pats fan commentary on ustream is the only audio (they've been trialling pictures too, so maybe you'll get that too). No TV
Out of interest how is it decided who is the home team. Didnt matter last couple of seasons but the teams in the final playing in red it will be an issue!
Agree with all of that except for the crowd bit, biggest attendance in Dalyer in a long time and possibly for the last time. Will be far lower on Friday.
Also think we would have had a far better chance if Burns, Flood and Fagan had been available. Although the defence did very well considering we were playing 2 left backs and 2 right backs.
1 all shels v pats replay and Garry rodgers sent off for pats
The commentary is gas http://www.ustream.tv/channel/st-pats-live-commentary
NSFW and you wont need much volume either ;)
2-1 Shels...this is interesting.
Shels to get to the final, lose and end up in the playoffs, losing to Galway in the process.
That would be priceless
the two lads sound like they are about to throw themselves under a bus
FairPlay to Shels if they pull it off.
3-1 !!!!
I think there is a good chance that if Shels win, they will get European Football (License Pending obviously).
they will only get into Europe if they win the cup.
The European spot for winning the cup is a higher "seed" than the second or third place in the league. So if Sligo win the cup but finish second or third then they will take the Cup spot and the additional place will revert to the league
ah balls anyway!
This is on wikipedia anyways.
If a team qualifies for European competition through both winning a cup and league placing, the "spare" UEFA Europa League place will go to either the cup runners-up or the highest placed league team which has not already qualified for European competition, depending on the rules of the national association.
Always thought the FAI did it that the league place would get it before a cup runner up (if Shels don't win it)
I was told it goes to the best placed league team with we don't win the final.
True but that was never proved and they still had two more rounds to get through before the final and managed to do it.
Just shows the quality to compete that the top first divisions have. Not much of a gap anymore with a lot of premier quality players playing first division football.
Every year that FAI Cup slaps me in the face!!
I didn't see Shels scoring or equalising..
