Gamble was one of the best players in Ireland while playing LOI i think that is more to judge from then how he got on in a far harder league have to remember that they are league one and playing against teams like Norwhich Leeds Leicester and that far far differenst from playing first division LOI.

Good signing. Experienced centre back. He has had a poor season with Galway from what I've heard but who hasn't. Would hope to see a big difference. Going from playing with a team on a downward spiral on and off the pitch to a team doing well should hopefully boost his confidence.Quote:

May not be true that they weren't impressed with him.
Wouldnt be concerned at all about people having a bad season for Galway bit hard to be up for it when you sign a deal and then a week after you sign it you get told you have to take a pay cut. And of course not getting paid for the last 6 weeks.
Hopefully if he is signed he can stay fit and get back to the form he had before he signed for Galway.
Shaun Maher if signed would be a much better option at centre half for a promotion run in than Brian McCarthy. FACT as they say on the internet.
