LTFC.ie still down. However, the end of the battle is in sight. A proper preview screenshot over the weekend if I'm still sorting it out.
OK folks. Just about over the final hurdle... It's a test page on the website at the moment. First of all, many thanks to everyone for their patience. Going to spend most of tomorrow ironing things out. It'll still be a work in progress as the season draws upon us, expect fixtures, team profiles, reports etc. when they come in. The website will start to take shape as we go along. Watch out on the official Twitter page for confirmation. Again, thanks to all for the patience and hope you enjoy the new site when it's up and running.
Thats some fantastic work you just put in their buddy fair play to ya.
Thanks mate, it'll look a bit better tomorrow!
Looking well so far, good luck with it.
Looking good so far Pauro. Fair play.
Right lads. Website looking in much better shape now. Will be updated and expanded regularly as I go along. Hope you enjoy!
Ah I have to say I really like it well done man.
Looking good. I'd remove the link to here though, Derry got fined a couple of years back for having a link on their site to a forum that was critical of the FAI. Oh and it's Salmon rather than Sammon!
Sorted! Thanks for the feedback lads, much appreciated!
f*ck the fai!
Special stats section as compiled by Martinho right here. Pretty useful addition, other seasons will be updated along the way.

I have a couple of hardcopy books written out from work done over the last three years on stats on the club.. as podge said its going to be a gradual process.. I have some more work to do on it.. But I do want this website to be one of the best in the country and we have the right team to do it!
If your ever looking for interviews with Town players or anything like that don't be afraid to ask lads.
Now that we have the colour scheme and all that, would it be an idea to make a Welcome page for the Facebook page?
How does that work? A screen when you go to the Facebook page is it? I agree it could do with a bit of livening up, just not too sure how to go about it.
Work away all suggestions and efforts more than welcome. I know nowt about graphic design of any sort!
You know the way ye were saying earlier that you couldnt have links to outside forums, sites etc in case they contain anti FAI views would the same not go for a link to a Facebook page?
I'll do it anyway and see if ye like it...
Well it's more about links to sites that actually do have comments criticising the FAI not places that might have them. The Facebook page is fine as long as nobody puts up anything nasty about John and the boys. You can set up your own page for that if you want!
No thanks there's too much competition out there already :)
but would a fan saying we got robbed by the ref tonight not be seen as an anti FAI comment? I just don't see how the FAIlure can inforce this silly rule.
Not really that's a comment on the football but if you're suggesting it's a deliberate FAI conspiracy then that's more of a problem. They make the rules and if they say they were broken then they'll fine the club and there won't be anything the club can do about it.
Fair point was just wondering cause you just never know with that lot theyd fine ya for breathing if they could!
A few new additions, RSS feed which should work hopefully, plus direct links to the Facebook page. Roll on the new season so!
An RSS feed is a system where regularly updated sites can publish their new stuff. Users can then subscribe and can access the new information as soon as its online.
Was just checking out the Town website last night was glancing through the history section. I have to say that it brought back some memories reading through the players from years past. The likes of Seanie Egan at left back, Mark Girvan tough tackling centre back and Pierce Walsh in midfield. So many names you forget over the years!! Fair play to the historian (Marty I believe??), great piece to have and look back on.
Ah ye the new site is a credit to the club and everyone who has helped with it, fair play lads.
Well done Marty!
all the hours swottin in the library have paid off for me. I have loads more stuff done but that will be put into our match programme at a later stage.. I always had a huge interest in this!
A suggestion! Would it be possible to have breaks in the posts? What I mean is that there is lets say 8 lines of the story, and then there is a link to the full story at the bottom? It would stop the homepage hitting 5 miles long! :D
Always open to suggestions! Do you mean a 'Read More' button? I shall fix that one up over the weekend.
May have one or two requests to your good selves, but more on that when I get to it. Also, many thanks to all of ye on the feedback, glad the site is going down well and a big thank you to everyone who's contributed so far.... Oh and home in May hopefully, miss those Saturday nights down the 'Siro.
Great work Marty, didn't cop the history bit before, loved that team from 92-94 some great players on it.....
Thanks for the read-more! Looks well!
Can anyone tell me who does the match filming?
