Is it true that Dykes has let the 2 coaches from the A League side go?
Perhaps part of the reason for the sudden drop in form?

the first team experience makes a big difference at this level alright. when you look at our game against bohs, they had the likes of lopez, forrester, mcevoy and burke all having played first team footy and were the best players on the pitch that day. against derry on sunday mclaughlin got 4, mcdaid was a constant threat and set up 3 i think. very solid at the back with mcmonigle and friars who started V ucd in the cup, ruadhri harkin a regular in the first team squad aswell and mccrudden was brilliant on sunday too, he played in the cup v ucd aswell. they have been playing together for a few years now from about u16 level up and thats what lacks a bit maybe in our squad.
the team has done really well and can hopefully pick up again and finish off strongly this season
Finn Harps 0-3 Derry City
race for 2nd now, derry away and gone. ucd in the driving seat. if they won this weekend their 6 clear of 3rd i think.
Bohemians 2-1 Drogheda United
Rovers 1-0 up away to Dundalk.
Result. Report
whats this weeks fixtures ?
sligo rovers v ucd on monday
Drogheda United 4-3 Fanad United
Today
Derry City v Dundalk
Finn Harps v Bohemians
Harps 1-1 Bohs
Derry City 6 Dundalk 0
Sligo Rovers 1-3 UCD.
Some great football by UCD.
Sligo Rovers 2-1 Drogheda. New signing Con McLoughlin with both goals.
A couple of dirty players in the Drogheda side.
Fanad 3-0 Harps
It was 1-0 in the 89th minute. We had 4 players in the back 5 playing their 7th game in 7 days. I've never seen so many injuries in my life, I think there is something like 12 injured at present.
kevin devaney hardly played did he heggy?
Anyone know the Derry-Bohs score/scorers?
Also, sorry if this is elsewhere on the thread/forum, but is there anywhere you can get an accurate/up-to-date table?
I'm told the one on Wikipedia isn't right (?) and the LoI site hasn't been updated in nearly two weeks.
As far as I can make out the table on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_A_Championship is as up-to-date as anything here - I think it's missing a few results, but so are we ...
Harps v Sligo game moved to Tuesday night at 7.30pm in Finn Park.
any results from the weekend? have ucd played their games in hand yet?
sligo rovers away to finn harps tomorrow night
According to wikipedia we play Dundalk tomorrow and Bohs on Sunday. Looks like a draw should see us through to the next round.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_A_Championship#Pool_1
ya looks like its more or less wrapped up now. we've got bohs sunday i think. ye seem to have Drogheda
Harps play Sligo tomorrow night and then Dundalk away at the weekend to finish up I believe.
Drogs 5-2 Dundalk
Finn Harps 4-1 Sligo Rovers
So, Final series of games are:
Dundalk v Harps
Sligo v Bohs
Drogs v UCD
Derry v Fanad
UCD 3-1 Dundalk
thats that then. congrats to both Derry City and UCD on qualifying. two best teams over the season. seemed to be a quite competitive division, with all teams taking points off eachother. pity its ending, still think theres a place for a reserve league. what will first teamers who need a game do. or young lads over 19 on the fringes of the first team, there were lots for ucd and derry and bohs like that
Do Derry City still have a game outstanding to play? Wiki has them down as having played 12.
Going by the fixture grid, they've had a game with Bohs postponed, maybe it's been replayed and the table hasn't been updated.
According to the Bohemians website, that fixture is still tbc. That page was updated yesterday. If they win their last game against Fanad United, that fixture might not even be played.
sligo rovers v bohs on sunday at 2pm. wonder are some bohs players staying down tomorrow night after the first team game?
As posted above, it says Derry City v Bohemians, or is that wrong ?
Also, Bohemians beat Fanad United 3-0 a few weeks ago.
The Wikipedia page has been updated to match the Airtricity link, so presumably the 17th makes most sense for Sligo-Bohs also.
Drogheda United 2-1 UCD
Anyone know why Bohs cancelled their game V us today, yet travelled to Derry to play instead?
Derry City 2-0 Bohemians
Ryan Curran, David McDaid the goalscorers
