Results and the next round of fixtures. We drew 1 1. Gave away a soft early goal and struggled to break WWEC down. Will still be in though going into game 2 thankfully.
If your team is not out in this round they will be out at the start of January.

They only used the blue one cause the couldn't get the match ball out of the ditch in time. The blue one was only used for 5 mins I'd say.
Just for the record shouldn't group 2 read Clare 2, Limerick 3.
Roscommon & District League v Sligo/Leitrim League
Sat 20th November 7.30pm in Lecarrow (County ground)
It has been announced that it is FREE in!
that would make ya sick.
is a young, fast striker or winger. played a couple of season with shannon hibs and left after the start of last season to play with a team in the lower divisions in town. signed with the boro this year and is obviously doing well to make the OT team..
good overall resly for the LDMC OT team..well done to all
Gentlemen, first time poster on this thread. A Cork AUL man.
Good to see the forum put to good use with healthy team selection debate.
As a player of limited ability, I cannot work out how any player can turn down a chance to play representative football. Baffling.I did not see the Star on Tuesday last, but, I believe there is some reference to Douglas Hall players not showing up for MSL game and bans to follow. I believe it is right.
West Cork league should be punished for not fielding a side.
Cork AUL beat Cork Business League 7-1 in a friendly last midweek.
Very tough in 3 team groups. Big advantage in my opinion for Cork having games 2 & 3. Very hard playing in first 2 games especially, if you need something from the 3rd one. A low scoring game is next best for the AUL in the MSL/Tipp game if it wasnt a draw.
Roscommon League 1-3 Sligo/Leitrim League
Horse my old friend have u gone mad. Lets clear up a thing or 2, Kevin Mul and Deccie o Connell are the 2 players, both notifeid patsy the were unavalailable, injured and work ,so u think its fair to ban them for 5 weeks?????????? come on now
Tipperary 1-0 msl
Msl vs Cork Aul wed 8th Dec Turners Cross
The story goes that they told the club and the club failed to tell the MSL. Dunno - I have only bits of the story. These forums would be no good if it was all truth!!!
if your training 3 nights a week and game on a weekend, sometimes your family has to get some time, i dont like the generalisation of "how can you turn down your league" i, there are other things to life than playing inter league, i would have no desire to represent the WDL no that i am anywhere near good enough and i would have no want to watch them or support bar hoping my own club men do well, the oscar traynor trophy should only go to youth level imo.
Great Point cufc.
So its upto the leagues to show how highly they rate the competition with the scheduling of games & training.
Totally True - Club first everything else a bonus if you have the time to commit yourself ! Have no problem representing a league team if you have the time(single etc..)- very hard though on lads with families, doing shift work etc..

Kilkenny league v Waterford League - 7pm.
When do the Douglas hall suspensions start??? it is the same in all leagues. If you dont show up you get banned
Dont think its fair to ban a player for not showing for OT duty, it doesnt interest all as discussed previously. Also most OT managers would have club allegiance in the league, for arguements sake, the Galway Manager(lets say a Hibs man) picking a load of Athenry and Mervue players that have no interest in the OT, the players dont show, get banned, miss league games....it would give Hibs an unfair advantage in the league. Galway, hibs, Athenry, Mervue were only selected as a possible example and I'm not implying anything.
Fatboyslim,
Would you have an involvement with Ballinasloe?? I'd be surprised if the Douglas Hall suspensions/bans apply to the FAI.
They played Tramore in a challenge Weds night and only had the bare 11 and had to ask Tramore for footballs and cones. Its a joke of a set up this year, any player from Carrick that was asked was just giving a phone number and told to ring it if they wanted to play, not one person from the management set up came to Carrick to speak to the players. They bet Tramore 1nil..
Mayo League v Roscommon league Sunday 2pm Milebush, Castlebar
Cork Bus. League 1 - Limerick Desmond 5. Limerick travelled with players some of who don't even play regular football. Time to revamp the Oscar Traynor as a whole from earlier posts on this, seems to be a lack of interest through out the country.
Oscar Traynor Result
Kilkenny League 0 - 2 Waterford League
Stephen Dalton with both goals.
