What a rediculous point. You're playing away to one of your main title rivals, your team scores a last minute equaliser, course the players and fans are going to go mental. It'd be weird if they didn't.

Ha!! I love this thing that the Bohs fans are clinging to as to why we celebrated our goal. As if we celebrated the way we did just cos it was Bohs. Sure we already got a point against you's at Dalymount earlier in the season and gave you's a hiding at Richmond Park so quite frankly, we're used to taking points of you's.
It's more to do with the fact that it was a last minute equalizer against a title rival that kept us top instead of slipping off the summit, so whether that title rival is yourselves, Sporting Fingal or even if it was somehow Bray Wanderers, it would still be just as sweet.
Also, it was hilarious to hear you sing 'We Are Top Of The League' in injury time just because you's thought you had it won, especially as you's were fairly quiet throughout the match in general, only for you's to be sickened and stopped mid rendition as Davey Mullered you's.
So yeah, we're gonna go mad alright.
I absolutely love how deluded people are on here! Great entertainment altogether!
I no in 2 years time when yous are midtable in the first division we will look back and laugh at celebrating so much at getting a point away to Bohs but for now we will enjoy it
Oh and remember if yous do get a last minute goal to snatch a point on Sunday dont celebrate too hard you might end up looking like minnows
if nothing else its revenge for the Pats fans for Nesso's goal against ye into the shed back in the Foot n Mouth Season. That must have stung as much as your celebrations obviously did the other night. Anyway, i get it, i just dont like it! :)
and what a celebration it was. fantastic. to score with our first shot on target in 92min in a derby match in which the oppostion were already celebrating. we very very rarely score in the last min of important matches so we enjoyed this one.
how did you euro "adventure" go this year.
Seriously, how old are you?
.......bit like the pats fans gloating over a draw ? or at slagging the Bohs players/manager post match ? Wont even comment on the saddos bringing inflatible sheep to a match in the centre of Dublin (REAL mature ???????) between two Dublin teams
not old enough to remember pats winning FAI Cup :D
Give it a rest FFS. Pats got a late equaliser away in a Dublin derby which keeps them top of the table. It's a huge point for them, just as it would have been a huge 3 points for you. Of course they're going to celebrate. Of course they're going to have a go at Bohs fans and manager after. What do you expect them to do?
No problem with them celebrating an ill deserved point (those that had not left early) but the crap posted here about exchanges with Fenlon and/or players OTT. Manager / players taunted and react - what do you expect ?
.........And dont worry about pats fans having a go at Bohs fans
Who gloated over the draw?
Completely childish, and very good funQuote:
or at slagging the Bohs players/manager post match ?
And that’s not commenting on it, is it? SO you don’t think teams should celebrate last minute equalisers and you don’t think fans should poke fun at opposing fans either? Do you just sit quietly at every game, politely applauded some Corinthian spirit?Quote:
Wont even comment on the saddos bringing inflatible sheep to a match in the centre of Dublin (REAL mature ???????) between two Dublin teams
It was completely deserved.
I’d expect my manager and players not to react to fans goading. Same question I asked of you to them, what age are you? Every manager in this league is taunted. Everyone bar Nutsy and O’Neill in Dundalk walks awayQuote:
but the crap posted here about exchanges with Fenlon and/or players OTT. Manager / players taunted and react - what do you expect ?
is it bad that i like when Nutsy reacts to this sort of behaviour? Good on him!!
My heartiest congratulations again to Pats on the point.
after last season you can give us advice on relegation battles ;) My, my 3 million doesnt buy much in these times.
Yet another prediction of our imminent doom*. One would have thought after last year people would have learned...
* perhaps Mods can put up a "Bohs go bankrupt / get relegated" sticky. Save all the losers draggingit into every thread that mentions Bohs.
" no problem with them celebrating" (SEE EARLIER POST ABOVE) it was the silly vitriolic posts on here that I thought so stupid. I hope that clarifys things for you on that score.
It was the view of pretty much all concerned that Pats were fortunate to get a draw (including one of your staff I spoke to) but hey, i'm sure you know better
now, time for me to move on and you to go back to your inflatible friend(s)
I'll ask again, and maybe you can answer for all concerned. How were pats “lucky”? Was it luck that made Quigley miss an open goal or poor technique? Was it luck that gave Bohs possession without creating anything or was it a mix of good defending and no vision? Was is a goal in the 92nd minute any luckier than a goal in the 2nd minute?
It was a brutal game that had at most 5 chances in it. We took one, you took one. Luck isn’t an issue
held seperate discussions (well chat over pre match pint) with several Pats fans who told me how unlucky Pats were not to beat Fingal - "we were all over them"," couldn't score" etc etc - I knew what they meant, as most know what I mean. Its a football thing
Its supporter logic the same way all refs "rob" every team who losses. Its complete rubbish, and I've said it consistently. I note you can't argue the facts with me.
Bohs had more of the ball, created more chances (although there were not a lot), and by most views were the better team. they looked to be getting three points (proven by the number of Pats fans that left early) but didnt due to a late, late strike. Good luck for pats bad luck for Bohs.
FFS Dodge since when has supporting football EVER had anything to do with Logic ?
