Unless he has just bought a hellicopter or has some other mode of transport unknown to mankind, it wasn't Paul Cook in Innchicore this morning as he was in the Showgrounds.
And he certainly wasn't there yesterday morning...
I'd be surprised if they did - worst defensive record, questionable tactics in numerous games, unproven at the level Dundalk aspire to (he has had one season as a manager and finished in the play-off spots at the end of the season, Utd's position after the other 35 games doesn' matter a damn)
You seem to be the only united fan that has this opinion did he eat your mcvities.
I can't believe your actually degrading him. We played our most attractive football for a few years, he had a paltry budget, the people of Galway wouldn't come out and get behind the team, and for a while we were going from billy to jack looking for a place to train. Your the first United fan I've seen to speak in such manner like this
Has Foster been offered the Dundalk job ? I`d be surprised if he has, just a rumour on our forum, was also on extratime.ie first.
I just read on GUFC.net that was posted by a very reliable source
More of the same again this year so, like Kenna last year !!!!Quote:
As Foster is under contract with United, and GUFC have already refused permission to Dundalk to speak to him, it seems that Dundalk are in breach of league regulations.
Dundalk contacted Stephen Kenny again, he will decide in the next 24 hours.
And the story takes another twist...
Im off the opinion that our board just dont want to have a manager anymore and run the team themselves!:D
Foster to be unveiled this evening according to LMFM sports

The new manager will be unveiled at a press conference at 8pm tonight.
We are taking legal action against Dundalk
Look, I'm not angry with Foster, I don't think we can have too many complaints, because he has been f**ked about with for the year.
But he, and Dundalk, were refused permission to speak with one another today, so therefore we are entitled to fight our corner, and get compensation
Oh come on... none of you would be complaining if you were on the opposite end of this...
doubt it will go to court. tough words from leeson but to be honest he will be delighted with a compo payment.
Whatever happens, the 'Daw won't be too quick to pay out.
Remeber Dave Rogers !
This is a very positive signing for the club, it's tough on Galway but until the city cop on and support their sports clubs it will continue this way.
How is the 3rd of 4th choice, Alan Matthews was never officially announced by the club as a front runner or around the town, it was papers billing that up esp when there where rumours amponsgt the press in July that he was been lined up to replace Connor then! Yes Foster is not number 1, that was Kenny, but who's to say he was never number two, three or four.
