England 2-0 up after 25 mins, lampard and gerrard (they cant play together), Miller should have scored the 2nd chance for Scotland, came back off the post keeper on the deck and Miller hits it straight at him, probably a little unfair on the Duth keeper, a good save from his point of view.

Seriosuly though; I think any of the big teams can give them problems, just depends on who gets it right on the day. None of Germany, Argentina, Spain, Brazil or Holland would be easy games for them.

If Italy play ths well against us then we're not going to beat them anyway.

Maybe just as well that Bulgaria lose then. Eases the pressure on us getting 2nd.

Just playing Devil's advocate here.

So Italy to be 4 points ahead with 2 to play. Cant help feeling even a win for us wouldnt be enough. as someone said on here, lets not waste our big win but keep it for the playoffs!!!

Not necessarily.

Both have been very poor so far in their respective campaign.

Bulgarians have to be the laziest, most temperamental shower. Italy not that good. just being let play and once their tails are up they can turn it on.

Good result for the Faroes tonight though.

Thinking the same thing. Berbatov had two opportunities to shoot but instead decides to play it out wide in slow motion.

Think we can look back to the home game against Bulgaria where we should have built on our 1-0 lead. Italy would be only 2 points ahead of us provided they win instead of 4.

Disappointing from Bulgaria, was hoping for the big decider in October, and at 1-0 and Petrov getting his range there was still a chance. No hope now, for a team who needed a win they looked like garbage

Play-Offs - Croker in use for Australia rugby on 15th? So, would be Ok for Saturday, or not?

Did George Hamilton just say an attendance of 20,000 at the game? They should be ashamed of themselves, if there's any justice (unlikely I know) the Bulgarians will jammy a couple of goals from somewhere.

Oh Wales just got an equaliser against Russia. Looks more likely they will take second now. Even if Germany lose in Russia they w(sh)ould have the same points and their goal difference is +6 better.

Doesn't make a difference I think. Both Russia and Germany would beat us. Lets hope we avoid that group in the playoff draw should we be in it.
