Baker kicked Shane Guthrie in the shin btw and Shane pushed Baker who went down as if he'd been shot and got Shane sent off, disgracefull behaviour.
Also, apparently the Shams player going off punched one of the Galway Utd stewards.Nick and an FAI offical had to intervene.
sullivan was acting the gobshi*e when he got sent off. it was a definate yellow card anyone in football know that when you do that you'll get booked. then he wouldnt go into the dressing room he just stood at the side of the pitch. idiot
No more crap on this thread or I'll bin it.
"got Shane sent off"
Guthrie kicked out or put his knee into Baker's back, it's really not that difficult to see why he got sent off..
That's seperate from the Galway player who kicked out at Sean O'Connor in the second half. A hard fought win with Sullivan with a deserved MOTM even though he didn't handle the second yellow card well.
How do those grapes taste this morning?:DQuote:

Poor game, we just nicked it.
UCD 2 -1 Limerick.
Limerick took the lead through Kavanagh after 6 minutes, a curling shot from 20 yards which went in off the far post. I thought we played some decent football in the first half, and restricted UCD to one shot straight at the keeper and one header which was glanced over with our keeper caught out of position.
Second half, UCD came out with a higher tempo, and Limerick, as they have done too often this season, stopped passing the ball and adopted a backs-against-the-wall mentality. Result - UCD goal about 5 mins into the second half, and another about 15 minutes later - a cracking shot into the far to corner, although I'm not sure it wasn't a bad cross, and another Limerick fan thought it took a deflection. UCD could have had a couple more after that, and Limerick created only half-chances.
About 5 minutes before the game started a Limerick fan went round to the side facing the stand and said he counted only 80 fans, but it did fill up a bit after that.
Because the had an extra man for the majority of the match.

Ten minutes gone at the Flansiro and its 0-0 with United having a very positive start.
Gartland unlucky not to score when he got a head to an O'Connor ball in but sent wide of the mark
McCarey made a fine save when Longford had one of only very few chances this far in the game
HT 0-0 Mons on top here but still no goals.
2nd half. Still 0-0 Mons free on edge of the box but out.
I know was just highlighting my frustration at our not getting a goal yet coz we are very much on top.
Longford Town Substitution: Neil McKenna off for Michael Foley
0-1 Mons! Clancy 68 min! Cracker of a goal, bounced and looked like it was going over the bar but just hit the underside of the crossbar and in! Whoohooo
longford playin better but monaghan take the lead with a deflected shot over the keeper.
Double subs for Longford: Darren McKenna on for Liam Lynch and Derek Glynn on for Murphy.
As for Longford being on top, eh no. Hardly able to string a pass together! Only just came into the game in the last 15 mins.
Just been told that if Mons had a singing section like section O we would sound like Girls Aloud!
Ha ha. Was a cracker coz I thought it was going over and got a nice surprise!!
Longford are starting to cause us some stress now alright. Hopefully we can get another one to secure the win. Am nervous now!
My wishes just came true! :D 0-2 Bermingham.
Yeah cottoned onto that after I posted. Sorry bout that.
Mons Sub: Darragh Hanaphy on for David Freeman
