Missed loads of days in Montenegro. :( Back on track today though. I liked the "What is Canada's other official language?" question this time. :D

dam them jagerbombers. Othewise would have 10 out of 10 and quicker.
Misread English Channel question. But reading with this much alcohol in your system is a skill in itself so should get extra points.
Aagh! WTF is the Winston Cup???
To be honest, even though I'm going to crib like feck again in a couple of sentences, I don't think changing topics will help too much. There'll always be US-only questions and we'll just have to work around them. In addition to the obscure sports questions there's plenty of TV shows, kids' books, sweets, cakes and various types of junk food, almae matres of various Z-listers which they seem particularly obsessed with for some reason, and of course those various Z-listers themselves, that we wouldn't have the faintest clue about over here.
Very annoying when you get them though. I mean, a question about the feckin' March Madness? Of 2003?? TBH I'm not even sure what sport that is, think it's college basketball but am not even going to look it up out of spite. :D
I don't think we can complain really , if you are going to do a quiz on a site thats American based you have to expect American slanted questions
Stupid American questions, all of mine were American to my disappointment, just the 5 right.
Bloody Nascar question tripped me up this time.
Bloody questions about children of the Czar, wtf like?
Anyone else get "What is the capital of Republic of Ireland?":D
I didn't get any of those questions from today. Must be totally random
I had the Czar one a few days ago, one of the easier questions but then that story fascinated me as a child. Even prompted me to learn some Russian (which I forget now though)
The only one i got wrong today was a rare one about football :( Kinda read it wrong about what colours do the Swedes wear
Missed 2 days in a row there but back with a bang...10 in 49 :)
Bloomin Spiders plus one obscure one that I guessed right. I still don't understand the question
Was that the one about the world's largest spider that's also named after a biblical character oldyouth? Got that one today as well if so.
Also got a 'take your pick from four baseballers' one right. Don't know what I was doing taking so long, not as if it was one that you could work out. Pure guess in the end that fluked in! :D
Second to thischarmingman so far. Fix.
That was bleeding simple today

Finally 10/10...
Grrr the system is doing maintenence and I am dying to do it now before my smarts dissapate.
Worked for me just now.
Got it working now, thanks Schumi, but you wont be too happy with me! :D
Weren't too bad today either, a couple that took a bit of thinking about.
Also there were two that I'd got before, I wonder how many questions there actually are?
And I just have to get a mouse for this laptop, having to make sure you un-highlight the buttons before using the down arrow is doing my nut in!
grrr bloody internet slowed down so it reckons it took me 100 seconds. I was fast but still got 2 wrong. :-( Also how come with 3 wins I am still only in 5th when others have 2 wins but are above me. Like how do the points get calculated??
It's done on cumulative total scored MM, so sorry but :p
Nah the scoring is a bit random alright, it's pretty savage, literally! :D
A better indicator is your average points per game but even that isn't perfect.
Your score is based on how many people played that day, which is not fair IMO. You can get as little as 10 or 12 points for a win (as one of mine was), even if it's 10/10 in 50 seconds (which it wasn't).
Got the address of the White House question about five times already but don't think I've got it right yet.:(
bumping this to the top of the page
A winner from Sligo the past two days...pride of Ireland;)
could be three in a row today ;)
EDIT well it cant be but I better fecking win today anyway-
gustavo,
So far you are doing very well.
I have more than a small problem with (how should i describe)........types from outside of Dublin.
I get 10!(TEN) and yet some people are ranked above me, just 'cos i fell asleep while I was answering some questions. It wasn't entirely my fault.
Falling asleep is something I will have to stay vigilant against.
(Masons; Mafiosi; Illuminati are not used in the above sentences. Be warned.)
Why are people complaining about a site based in America asking America specific questions ? They've every right to!
I think it has more to do with the fact no-one is likely to know the answer to baseball, American Football, Colleges etc questions. If they were on politics, geography, history then fair enough you'd have a chance.
Personally, I'd like the questions toughened up where, for instance, a good 9 or a fast 8 is in with a chance of winning, not just the fastest one with out a baseball question in it
