Sligo should have got all three points tonight. Galway were there for the taking. Good point for them.
tbh - not sure why they decided to show a game from this series of games - not really a stand out fixture that would entice the watcher to sit down and take in a game.Quote:

You can thank the FAI for nobody knowing anything about our game. Up until Monday of this week, they made no mention of it being changed. The fixture list issued on Monday still had the game down for Saturday night. They then followed it up with this little gem:Quote:

In the attached fixture list they did actually have it down for Friday, but at 7:30 instead of 7:45. I know at least one national paper rang our PRO today to ask him what time our game was on at tomorrow. :rolleyes:
Ha, I thought that might be the case. We had it on our site weeks ago that it was changed so I knew I had the right night. Aertel popped it up about half an hour into the game, which was nice of them.
