Is it just me or is three games very little to play before the start of a new season ? Let's face it the Coolaney game will not be a high tempo league game so you are really talking about two games before the season starts.
ya the finn harps game should be good but a waste of time playing collany
Did some checking with regards to other clubs and pre season friendlies.
Bohs who have already played a friendly against Monaghan have 6 more due including a home one against Burnley.
Shams have 8 in all and like Bohs they are going on warm weather training.
Harps have 6 including ourselves. Bray have 6, Derry 5 and Galway have 4.
I raise this as we have a lot of new players and its going to take time for them to get used to playing with each other. Surely now is the time for that rather than having the usual line at the start of the season about the lads getting to know each other and getting up to match sharpness.
Also, Just 1 home friendly:confused: ? Even if you played the Mayo league and only 200 showed up--Its still revenue for the club.
maybe we might be playing burnley when they come over?
the 2 would have been in contact over seamus coleman, surely they would have mentioned they are playing bohs and someone mentioned a friendly to them?
lads what do you think the starting team will be against pats i think we will have trouble at the back 4 with coleman, ventre and peers suppended
