He didnt blame anyone Eanna, he was giving his reasons for hoofing, he didnt mention or critisize anyone else.
If you are refering to the "fans comment", to be honest, I think he has a point, atleast with regard to some of them.
But less teams stay up this year so would that not lead to more 'safety first football'. It's not like Monaghan or Galway were ever a threat last year.Quote:

Our Hoofing style has always being a part of our game, sure we would have won the league witht eh style under DB if Richard wasn't such a fcukhead.
The team that won the most games and got the most points this year are a team of hoofers. The difference is that they hoof with a purpose and make use of set-pieces unlike us.
Hoofing is just like the force, it has it's dark side but can be used to get the right results.

To be fair Colm, there is a big difference in performances away from home, Im sure that most people will vouch for that.
AFIK What he said was that most people dont know what football is really like, and to be honest I think that he is right (even though he may not know too much himself:p ) There is such a difference between watching, playing and managing. Im fantastic at watching, but crap at playing. Bobby Charlton & Lotar Matteus were a great players but couldnt manage to save their lifes, however Brian Kerr and Sven Errikson werent the best players but still turned out to be good managers. The point Im making (& the one I think Gunther made badly) is that there are alot of "hurlers on the ditch" at the cross who can point out the problem quite easily, but havent put up any solutions.
As the people who help pay the wages, I think that we should get a bit more recognition, but I would say this more to the players than Gunther. I come to see them play not Gunther to stand and shout so I would rather see them give recognition to the fans at the end of a match which hasnt happened in quite a while :(

To be honest, I cant really pinpoint any single reason for this. It could be due to the fact that a lot of teams shut up shop when they come to the cross or it could be because there are not as many people on the players backs at away fixtures.
Whatever the reasons, we need to produce the performances at home because this is the only way to attract new supporters

If anyone saw Sky news on Friday I think it was, they had a bit about some college in England doing a business course for football managers and Brian McClair (ex Man U player & Blackburn Coach) basically said what I said on my lasy post about the huge difference between playing and managing, and how hard it was.
BO!!LX TROY! He mightn't have mentioned a name of a person or a group, but the sentiments were the same as always- "It's not my fault." Well it is his fckuing fault because he's had long enough to sort it out, and results and performances have got steadily worse, not better since he took over. He has blamed everything and everyone for his own incompetence and has still refused to look at himself.Quote:

To be honest I couldn't give 2 fcuks what Liam Murphy thinks of me, or how much he or anyone else thinks about football.
What bugged the living crap out of me about what Liam Murhpy said -- was not him suggesting my knowledge of football was poor, but the fact that he said he didn't pay attention to the fans- we pay his wages.Quote:

You should let one comment cut you up like that man, chill out and forget about it. He is human after all ..... has anyone thought that he might have just said it out of fustration and not really meant it at all. Either way i wouldn't get that worked up over it.
