I suggested Allardyce as he has moulded a team of very ordinary players into a competitive side at club level. Plus, he began his managerial career in our league, so he may have some knowledge of the local game, and how we tick. With the good players that the side has, he would have a base to work from. If he can also get the best out of the likes of the Kilbane's, O' Shea's, and Morrison's and gel them all together, the national team would be competitive again soon. Him actually getting the job though, is a lot easier said than done.
