Alan Nixon reporting that Millwall are interested in McNally. Burnley have supposedly been in talks with Millwall about signing Zian Flemming. Could be just putting two and two together or there's interest there from Millwall to have McNally included in any deal.

A season ending ACL injury for McNally.
The 26-year-old Meath man was left out of the Bristol City squad at the end of the summer window, having sustained an ACL injury in February 2025. McNally underwent surgery to repair his ACL; while the repair has remained intact, two additional surgeries were required to address post-operative complications. McNally has been included in the City squad list for the remainder of the 2025/6 Championship, but the club want to take a very cautious approach. Manager Gerhard Struber has never been able to select McNally, but is reported to be a big fan, on the basis of studying recorded footage of the defender. "Of course, we want to do everything with him [so] that he is soon back, but I think in my plan and with the plan of the medical department, he is more of an option for the new season." (Bristol Post, 12 Feb 2026).
