Would you walk from Longford Town to City Calling Stadium? I certainly wouldn't.

I did once. It was weird. Really foggy, and the lights of cars coming over the hill gave off a gleam like a UFO before they crested it.

Well, jiffy in a car. The only time I've ever been at the Flansiro was on the way to Mayo. Never took a game in there. Yet.

Longford Town's ground is what 2.5-3 mile from the town it would take a good 30/40 minutes to walk out. I count that as middle of nowhere

It's a little over three miles if I remember correctly.

I did. Almost half an hour with no footpath at some points, luckily was at the peak of summer where it was still day when I arrived in the city. And had to wait until 0230 am for the bus back to Dublin. I will never forget that day.

Mad man! Things to do in Longford at night to kill a few hours 1) go to the pub 2) eh.... 3) no..nothing occurring to me.
