Pretty comfortable for Rovers. Pats put up a good challenge, but other than a few set pieces and deflections/pinball, there wasn't a time where I thought they'll score now. Murray was very good, Mannus was very good, Dennehy wasn't...someday Rovers will score a penalty in that end...
It's at least 6 missed in a row, seemingly one number too high for our witty Pats visitors who could count only to 5...
More reaction from DundalkFC.com,top class service from all involved i think you will agree.

People not happy about the performance on our forum, saying we played scared and sat back, with far too much hoofing. Hopefully we can sort that out, but for now the points will do.
We also need to work on our complete inability to score more than one goal in a game!
Tbh I can't see anyone staying the pace with Shels, unless Waterford pull something out of the bag. Personally I'm aiming for playoff so once we finish ahead of yourselves, Harps and Mons I'll be happy
Rovers tryed to do a Shams tonight and hoof for 90mins, didnt work, fun to watch though:sarcastic:
as you'll know Dunny, the reaction of most of the lads who were there was that it was a peno, a stonewaller, notwithstanding that there was a clear foul on Killian Brennan about 5 seconds prior which should have been given. Just balancing the argument a little bit...
Either way, fair result id say. I was bricking it at the end.
3 games played, 6 goals scored, 9 points won. Last time we did it, we won the league. Top and clear already, and the clocks haven't gone forward yet. Happy Days.
Can't win games not playing football, can't win games playing football - worrying times in Sligo. :disappointed:
unfortunatly this is true and this draw was a lot worse for me than the loss to shams . If you cant score against Bray then you really have problems .
On reflection and having heard a few who watched the replays, its looking like that was a stonewall peno for us with 5 mins to go, but there is a case of a foul beforehand. Sill I believe you get these decisions evened out over the season.
I have to say I always look forward to Bohs coming to Oriel Park, they brought a very decent crowd up, around 350, and there is never the same aggression around the place compared to a Rovers visit.
For the majority of the first half we played some great football and were far too much for Wexford who to be fair and particularly good. Deserved to be 4 goals up as well but then gave away a penalty right at the end of the half which was a stonewall penalty to be fair. Second half we weren't so good. We panicked a bit and replacing Philly Hughes with Karl Bermingham didn't really work. Wexford got their second and hit the post which set up a nervy finish. We could have had a couple more goals and if we continue to play like we did in the first half we will do very well this season.
Our goals from last night. 2nd goal......SWEEEEET! Eric Foley on the double
