Reserves final today between United and Villa.
Heres how they lined out.

1st Half:
Thought Derrick Williams was solid, didn't really have any sort of stand out moments which I guess is fine as a centre half. Seems to have a penchant for the odd rampage forward in the same vein as Dunne occasionally.
Enda Stevens did quite well, was solid defensively and got forward to help the attack. Linked up with Daniel Joheffectively and also put in some good crosses.
Samir Carruthers started on the right where he was very isolated, swapped positions with Grealish about midway through the half and came in to the game a bit more. Had a few misplaced passes but didn't seem to be flying in to challenges as much as before. Had a great chance to score on the stroke of half time after a decent one-two saw him alone, 10 yards out with only the keeper to beat, but allowed the defender to recover and get enough on his shot to send it over.
Jack Grealish was not in the game too much, especially after moving out on the right from where Villa don't seem to like to attack. Did seem to defend well on the few occasions he had to.
Michael Drennan was better up front than he has been in the past couple games I saw him, won a few balls in the air and linked up well with the midfield. Had a good chance to score off a Johnson cross but wasn't able to convert it (some decent defending as well).
2nd Half:
More of the same from Williams and Stevens. Carruthers stayed in the middle and came in to the game more including another great chance that was just saved by the United keeper. Grealish was brought off after 65 or so minutes. Drennan faded a bit as the match went on.
Robbie Brady came on for United Reserves around the 48th minute and made a huge impact. He was playing on the right (he's usually plays on the left) and caused some problems for Johnson and Stevens (who didn't do too poorly).
In the end United won on penalties after a 0-0 draw, Carruthers was the only Irishman to take one and he had his saved.
