No, because Derry City Football Club have been in existence since 1928.
The first Derry crest is ok, hate the second. Arsenal seem to have started off the modern crest shape.. Do clubs change their crests for copyright reasons like they do in the EPL? Know Arsenal did it to stop counterfeit items...
