Things have gone a bit quiet again. Any news on any more signings or have we news on who is staying from last year. I have nt heard many rumours about any of our squad going to anyone else. So hoping this is a good sign that we keep the majority of our good players.
Doyle put pen to paper over the weekend,Dinny,Fiachra, and caffery i here are staying. I heard a Williams offered to stay but was turned down other than that its been very quite. i still think its the calm before the storm i think there will be lots to talk about accross the board next week.
Just so i can get it straight.
We have Confirmed:
Robbie Doyle
Darren Quigley (loan)
Eamon Zayed
Gary O Neil
Shaun Williams
Ross Gaynor
Stephen Paisley
Shane Mc Faul
Shaun Maher
And it looks likely:
Danniel Corcoran, Paul Caffrey and Fiachra McArdle will sign
Have not heard anything on Alan but ill keep my ear to the ground, also for winning event team of the year we were awarded 4 stars the best in three seasons with one fine for a flare we all know brought in,we recived a 12k sub grant from FAI for this witch the club gave %100 to the North Dublin schools leauge Acadamy(NDSL). nice touch i think.:)
Yeh, Kirby def signing for Fingal. Very good signing.
Any news on the academy that Limerick FC are supposed to be doing.
Cheers Jofspring
Is the alan Kirby signing confirmed anywhere.
Sporting due to play a friendly Vs St Pats this week due to the weather it has been put on hold Bucko hopes to seal two last players of the puzzle this week i have no names. i do know a player Mark Salmon has been let go form Wolves during the weekend and wants to come back to Ireland intrest from Pats and Bohes his position is Mid field Bucko would have looked at him but if he gets his last two this week he will be happy.anyone know anything about this lad.he is down to play for Pats in the Friendly Vs Fingal but not signed yet.
If there is only 2 more, I presume we have a good few staying from last year.
Any news when the official squad list will be released.
Could do with some info about the friendlies on the website. Would allow potential new fans to see the club before the season starts. The website is where i would be looking to get my info about the club from but it hasnt changed since before christmas. I know i keep saying this but i do feel the website should be updated more often. Signing info, The award sporting won, more info on the DCU/Blanchardstown college scholarship, the facility in lusk and any other story related to fingal big or small. Keeps people interested and allows old and new fans to see what the club are up to.
Despite the lack of website updates a group of young fans are trying to organise a bus up to the friendly against Derry. I knew of the Bray friendly as well, first i heard of Pats though.
Information has to come out of the club. They're making a big mistake in failing to do so for the season ahead.
Thanks for the feedback. Believe me, I'm as frustrated as you and the fans are about the site. We took a decision recently to engage a new website provider in order to enhance last year's version.
This change is taking longer than I expected unfortunately. I have been assured that it will be live shortly. However, what I would suggest in the meantime that if any fans etc want to email myself John Fallon. I will send out regular mail updates with news of recent/upcoming events.
Thanks again,
