Tha site's very far behind. Only lists 12 games at most, and has City's top crowd as 3,000 !

It's correct, too.

Limerick's actual biggest attendance of the season was the close on 4,000 who showed up to watch Limerick F.C. v Leeds United Reserves
Don't you just hate this country sometimes :(
Similarly more than 3,000 were at our 2nd game v Rovers a few weeks back, I thought most agreed it was between 3,300 + 3,500.
Also I`d say every other first div club had their highest crowd for the visit of Rovers.
Not us- I think our biggest league crowd was for the first game against Kilkenny.
Shamrock Rovers V Limerick on 9th October: official attendance was 1014.
Just what is the point of your post? 1,014 is higher than your season average. I'd wager that it's higher than any game you've ever had against Limerick, higher than any game you've had on a Monday night, and definitely higher than any game against Limerick you've had on a Monday night.
These "we've got more fans than you" pißing matches are a boring waste of time. You'd be better served trying to figure out how to get the 2,500 non-Rovers fans at our game down there to come back every week.
Correction on a post i put up under the first division run in thread.
Just reading a few more estimates on orielweb
Last night 1,300 for Dundalk v Athlone.
Stu same for our match v Rovers. There was definitley at least 3500 there but if you wan't to stick to the figure you have fair enough. Most papers in Galway reported 3500-4000 aswell.
That's not the same case. The figure I have in is the figure which was apparently called out at match over the PA.
No, it was the official number for tickets sold.
It's what was called out as the official attendance by the club. Nobody seems to be questioning that. The rules of the thread say that's the first figure I'm going to take. I don't see the need to question the official figure the club itself gives because others think it was wrong. I may as well question every other official figure as well and start adding on a few hundred.
Shamrock Rovers V Kildare County official attendance was 1282.
1695 at Bohs v Pats last night
Thought Drogheda-UCD was down on previous occasions, with the Saturday afternoon kick off not helping. It's down as 1900 for the previous game, so maybe 1500 this time? 30 UCD fans there.
I counted 252:mad: at the game, early evening kick offs are keeping the average punter away.
between 200-300 at the Harps/galway game last night inclusing the 60 united fans who traveled.
I would have put the crowd higher than that- in the photo here http://www.flickr.com/photos/90739204@N00/270212936/ there is over 100 on the bit of terrace behind the goal that can be seen, and you could add on a few more for the two ends that are out of shot.Quote:

There was at least 50 or so on the gantry side and 300 in the stand, so I'd safely say there was 450 there- better than most attendances we've had this year. Cracking atmosphere for the number of people there too.
Would have to agree i would have said 400 myself. Also agree on the atmosphere...2 vocal sets of supporters last night aswell.
No - people don't notice threads that are stickied - best let this float about imo.
Having talked to someone who talked to one of the gatemen the other night I'd put the crowd as 500 for Harps Galway.
I'd say about 900-1100 at the game, I'm up for correction on that. Great game I thought, would have liked more at it but the season we're having I'm not surprised.
Have upped Harps-Galway to 450 so. Bray is in at 950. Top attendances are as follows, with the opposition noted...
Cork City 4,500 Shels
Derry City 3,000 Pat's/Bohs
Sligo Rovers 2,900 Shels
Drogheda United 2,800 Shels
Bohemians 3,104 Pat's
Shelbourne 2,650 Cork
Saint Patrick's Athletic 2,145 Shels
Bray Wanderers 2,800 Shels
Waterford United 1,100 Shels/Bray
Longford Town 1,421 Sligo
UCD 950 Bohs
Dublin City 1,900 Bohs
Shamrock Rovers 2,000 Dundalk
Dundalk 3,500 Rovers
Galway United 3,092 Rovers
Finn Harps 700 Rovers
Limerick FC 1,100 Rovers
Cobh Ramblers 550 Rovers
Athlone Town 700 Rovers
Kildare County 1,100 Rovers
Monaghan United 800 Rovers
Kilkenny City 278 Dundalk
You'd think a Shels Rovers game would get a good crowd going by those figures :)
Maybe next year!
Although I can't see us going down ;)
As I thought almost every first div team reports their biggest attendance for rovers visit. Also note only Cork beat the highest so far in the first div.
Interesting figures all the same
Pineapple Stu - fair play to you (again) for taking time to do all of this.
