Thats interesting enough! 3 people have suggested something might be going on but because Shetland says its not then its a FACT . Are you Rafa in disguise Shetland? Got yourself a goatie??

I'd say there's very few, if any junior clubs paying players with the current financial pressures on clubs.

Look lads, this is how rubbish starts. There is nobody getting any extra incentives to play with Killumney Utd. The players coming out from the city are there because they were asked by the manager and promised they would be part of a competitive squad and progressive club. Nobody is guaranteed a start or food voucher!!! Like most clubs the players return to their pub for refreshments after games and a few baskets of chips are handed out - hardly a meal but most appreciated by lads that have been out since approx 9am that morning. Reckon billy is only on here to wind people up. Sensible comment Hairy!

grow up billy will ya ,ive never been inside the door of the killumney inn ,typical rubbish talk ,and if you know hill as a person ,he needs no guard dog believe me.

Killumney Utd v Janesboro (Limerick league leaders) munster junior cup tie will be played at Lakewood Athletic Grounds, Ovens, next sunday 2pm ko. All support would be welcome and appreciated.

Had to say that boo;) Agree with Springfield to win it outright. We're playing really bad at the moment. Not picking up points and to be honest it's what we deserve. Big step up from 1A last season and finding it hard. Anyone tell me why Kanturk were deducted 3 points??

Fair play! Difficult enough getting 1 team running well but 2 is a credit! Looking forward to the cup game against the B's in the County Cup!

Fair dues Parkboy, especially as i recall ye lost a lot of players and regraded to the 3rd division from div 1. Have ye a lot of new guys or have lads come back?

I'm not sure how happy the teams in the same league as yer B team will be cos I seem to remember a good few complaints on here regarding the drop in league by that team. Seem to have a memory of you saying they would struggle parkboy?

It makes a mockery of the league that Park B, one of the most organised teams I saw play in Division 1 last season, were allowed to drop down 2 divisions so they could pick up some silverware at the expense of the existing division 3 teams. What a joke.

I mentioned this back in July last year in the post below, and now it looks like they are going to run away with the league. No surprise really.

ya ye were allowed to drop a few leagues to try and win a few medals...I remember a lot of complaints over this matter when this happend.....I wouldnt be proud of this and I hope other teams in that league claw back some points off ye because ye dont deserve them

We beat them 3-0 in the Corinthians Cup final and I thought they were a good side. Well organized and were able to get the ball down and play. I remember a few of the 'A' team were leaving so they had to promote players from the 'B' team to replace them and for that reason dropped to Div 3. Not a bit fair on the other teams there. Didnt say much for the their players that stayed with the 'B' team either. It's like Management/Committee saying ye're not good enough.
