If you didn't post such ridiculous statements I wouldn't need to be sensitive. You talk about the integrity of Clonmel Town and then you suggest this concept is missing when it comes to Clonmel Celtic and you make reference to their loss in Tipperary last season. Once again I repeat you were wrong when you state 'they weren't too bothered who won the league'. Why do you mention Celtic's loss to St Michaels? What was the significance of your statement. You tried to insinuate that Celtic weren't bothered and you were wrong.
In the 2006/07 season Town finished 1 point ahead of St Michaels and in the run in to that season Celtic beat St Michaels 3-1. If they had not won that game St Michaels would have won the league.
You should give serious throught to what you post before you press the button 'submit reply'.
You made a serious accusation and you are trying to brush it off by saying I am too sensitive. The decent thing to do would be to withdraw statement and say you were wrong.
Lad,cool the heels, leave out the personal stuff.
Roberto, I understand perfectly what the definition of the word libel is and I think you are over engaging your own brain, and maybe you should read back over the last page or so. The sensitivity displayed is one of the reasons non users of foot.ie criticise it so much. People are only thinking aloud sometimes when they post on here. This doesn't mean that every thought or notion should be sanctimoniously ceased on and used against the poster. I'm not a Celtic supporter but I didn't take any inference from any comment that Celtic would ever 'throw' a game. And, for the record, I don't believe such a fine club would either.
[QUOTE=Tipp Top;1349001]jesus if Town win a Munster and Fai that will be an incredible achievement,i cant imagine any Tipperary team has ever achieved this feat? those players would go down in history
dont worry, they wont............
going by tsdl website just updated there
celtic 1-0 rovers
very good result for celtic, hope they can beat saints now and win the league
I was 1-0, a Craig Condon header gave Celtic the win
Damo, I take your point. However some people on here think that because it is an anonymous forum they can say what they want. I think that people who make erroneous or vexatious statements should be challenged, otherwise the quality of this forum will never be improved.

def no problem between villa and town. town are a great club and my money would be on them winning 1 of the big competitions, just dont think they are good enough to win 2. however i wish the players all the best and would be happy to be proved wrong. would be great for all the players and for the many genuine people involved
Sorry Guys, But from what i've seen lately from town their a good team but not good enough to win both. I think that Carrick will win the Munster. It will be close but they will just shade it.
I don't think Town are world beaters and certainly not the best Town side of all time. That said, they are very hard to beat. the defence is excellent but with Raymie probably gone for the season they won't be as strong in that department. Mind you Stephen Ryan was superb last Sunday.
Any word on any of the appeals in FAI and Munster?
ya i think they could do with more firepower. problem is that there is not much around the league, maybe with saints but players dont tend to move between those clubs . young fella that came on up front last week that is still youths ( i think ) could be the answer, asking a lot for him to do the business in the big games straight away though. think they could do with a quick and aggressive left sided player
Ha Ha i wonder are you a left sided quick and aggressive player, you will get your chance to impress Tuesday night :) and im sure Barry Ryan will be looking to answer your firepower remark,he has done well for Town in his first season to be at top of goal charts with Scully on their website after missing 3 or 4 months of the season,i have a niggling doubt that Town wont be full strength Tuesday, not trying to stir up more conspiracy theories just think their focus is elsewhere
grow up lads, ron i dont think your team mates will be thanking you for the abuse you give them on this or stirring anything up before a game,im sure Town will be full strength Tuesday night, they dont tend to lose too many games at home and momentum is massive at this time of the year
how long does arbitration take? hopefully this does not drag on into summer. best of luck to town youths tonight in munster final
Congrats to clonmel youths team!!!
