Exactly, may the best team win. He is a huge loss, but Saints have the squad to withstand the loss of Chalky, of that there is no doubt.
This looks like a low scoring game. Carrick have conceded just 9 goals in 15 league games while St.Michaels have gone through the Munster and FAI cups with a massive number of clean sheets. Chalkey Walsh will be a huge loss to St.Michaels and one wonders who will replace him. St.Michaels are pumped up as favourites but remember (1) Carrick are holders (2) the game is in Waterford (3) Saints most influential player is suspended. I think it will be 1-0 - but cannot make up my mind who will win.

confidence in the St . Michaels camp seems to be very strong , almost to the point of unbeatable . Results this season certainly bear this out. Best of luck to saints and Carrick. Im gonna go for Saints cause i genuinly think they are the best side in the country at the moment and they are a credit to the league. I think hunger will get them over the finish line (just about maybe 2-1) although it would take a brave man to write off the lads from Carrick.
