Anyone got any info on this game? Did the better team win on the day? had either team much chances? Could Iorras go on and win it? have they the hunger?
Fairview missed alot of chances poor finishing and had alot of possession but credit had to go to erris who defended in numbers,centre half,and keeper were very good,keeper can kick the ball 70 yards,chucka wasnt the greatest but hes been rock solid all season i think trevor cosgrave was a big loss he has the experience in the fai,i think kevin in goals was hes only option hes the best out of a bad bunch.Quote:

ya i thought chucka played well in fairness. the fairview midfield let them down i thought. good game over-all. major opportunity lost for fairview though, erris were very average, fairview should've won it handy. the fairview keeper was awful, made a complete hash of every high ball and cost them the goal in the 1st half when he came out to catch it and the erris striker got his head to it and scored. thought the standard of the football played by both teams wasn't great, some amount of long ballQuote:

i honestly think the standard of soccer in the premier has declined a lot. 1A isn't great either. we played geraldines in the lawson last sunday, they're up near the top, they won 3-0 but honestly Athlunkard dominated most of the match. i was lookin forward to watchin ye on sunday but ye didn't play well at all. the standard of the game in general wasn't great i thought. i don't think ye'd have won the fai this year based on sundayQuote:

i reckon ballymun will beat erris if it was on in erris own ground than id fancy them but you never know they will fight to the end and it will take a massive effort to beat them
I dont think there is any clear favorites left in this year on there day anyone can beat anyone especially at home. i am lookin forward to watchin Peters and lisselton this sunday should be a very close game with 2 hard workin teams...was wonderin from clonmel point of view who would they prefer and when is the semi scheduled and venue..cheers...
