They played on the astro in glamire I think
From what I remember it was the crowd that they hire it from called yer game off tricksy.. They were also the ones that made the call on today's game.. Not blarney streets call from what I'm led to believe
Well what we were told was that they walked the pitch and they said it was unplayable, just find it hard to believe the pitch would be playable this week and not last week considering the rain that fell. Was the all weather pitch water logged out Douglas tonight or what??
That a shame 1for was looking forward to seen your young pups in action in all
Haha wit your clout around the aul why didn't you get the game on
Yep still on
3 1 to innish just got a text they must be sick of the sight of each other and still have league game to play
Haha you really are some clown. Darren probably is having one of his worse seasons in front of goal. 1 minute you praise Eddie the next you slate him. 1for would be a great choice for blarney street. Would bring in players + get team playing the right way. With your vast football knowledge would you not apply?
You're well informed as always Hubba. I'll tell my Lads at Leeside (Seniors) not to bother showing up now to Moneyvourney on Wednesday night where we were scheduled to play our game against the AUL team..... You saved me the drive up from west Cork much appreciated....
That be a good game I might go watch that.Haven't seen Leeside yet since they left aul . Kinda mixed results in msl so be nice to see have they kicked on from last season . Which was poor by their high standards
A lot of rebuilding done over the close season oldlegs. Different ethos and different approach to the game with a more technical emphasis. Squad very young with one or two old heads still present who remain the core and backbone of Leeside. I agree results have been mixed for sure but the division itself is a strange one alright. Not a lot between many of the teams with teams continuously taking points of each other. Today a fine example with Casement (bottom) convinicingly beating Mallow (second). Not much of a difference in terms of standard at all from premier aul but vast improvement in facilities ,organisation and experience with chances to play in intermediate etc and host clubs like Avondale in the senior cup. Sure to be a cold one in Moneyvourney one Wednesday. Make sure you pop over to the line for a cup of tea..... Identity and discretion assured
I'll be wearing a big trench coat ;)tea would be nice
I can honestly say that blarney street would be lucky if 1for accepted the job. For the life of me I don't know why they haven't offered it to him already. He'd have a lot of **** to weed out of the club. Eddie done an OK job but blarney street should be challenging on all fronts every year not "surviving". 1for is the current manager of the year and had the glen playing some gorgeous football, and no matter where he ends up I'd put my money on that team to win the league.
Kilreen Celtic - Team Of The Month December 2012 :D
fairplay KC thats the job.Innish are very good team played them at the start of the season have some great players how the fella Jack isnt on the aul team is beyond me prob the best CM in the aul
Any one interested in a friendly Friday night against pearse astro booked already
Not really a relevant comment in my opinion Wilton, Kinsale and Leeside not in the league now so stop comparing the teams that are to them them teams that are in are in and doing as well as they are regardless and deserve to be where they are so stay in the moment and stop looking back to compare work with the clubs that are here in the league now
eddie did an ok job to be fair...his downfall was that he was hanging around with the players to much and it looked like they lost respect for him as a manager...as for them challenging for trophies I think your way off the mark....outside of one maybe two they are very poor and if someone was to take over he would need to bring a lash of players with him...
3rd in the league last year so its not as if they were that far away with the majority of that squad starting this season. crow and banksy were huge losses mainly the latter. think there mossy campaign didnt help them well the group mainly as they battered everyone in it and maybe over confidence fellas thinking theyve nothing better to do then turn up and win. there wont be a new manager there till the summer so its a case of them just ploughing on for the rest of the season and try finish as high as they can.
aul v leeside should be a good game wed night looking forward to it if the weather dont spoil it .leeside still a little in transition i think and some youth there but i agree they should be a better test.
About time they were tested the last match was obviously no test
I agree banksy was a loss but there are plenty fine players playing in the lower leagues with plenty of experience of msl and aul premier that would be far better than some of the players that eddie was playing...they are a big northside club and I hope they get a good man to sort it out because im sure your well aware of the great northside teams who slipped away to nothing. A new manager to let the axe fly and allowed do his thing and im sure blarney street will challange then. Just hope that he will be managing in the premier.

Good signing for pearse there dean Kelly from Douglas hall hopefully more to come .
Have till thursday to sign a few more for your title push
