Of course they can but all good sides will always look to bring in a few "outsiders" if they can improve the team.and as you can see by results and league position it is working

alright lads been watching on with interest the last few seasons.so i said i would get involved,
looking at the tables their looks like macroom are as good as down already.knockavilla also considering the were nearly relegated last season.
was talking to a few blarney clubmen. they are back in for this holden chap. isnt as prominent with wilton , was the focal point with macroom. still a good player though
Billyteam i know you ld find out of the 11 players that started that game against Leeside on Sunday, 9 of the starting team have played schoolboy football with Coachford and only Coachford, and one of those that did nt has been with the club 8 years. I can t think of any other team in the city and county at both Aul Premier or at Munster Senior League level that could boast those kind of stats. I think it shows what a superb schoolboy system is in place. The club is & always will open to new members joining whether they are players for the A or B team or someone looking to join a club. I know your new to this billyteam but that was a ridiculous statement.
What about teams with no schoolboys teams then? Are they not making a complete mockery of having schoolboy teams by allowing other clubs train players all the way up and then giving a player somewhere to jump ship to at the first sign of a disagreement with a coach or player.
Anyway billyteam I think you'll hard pressed to name a team who are made up entirely of players produced solely through their own schoolboys ranks. How many players in the city have only played with one club?
How many is LOADS billyteam? I know conor o Neill and Danny Dunn have left.
anybody have some transfer news been very quiet?cork aul vs tipp down for the 26th of jan billy team.
lads could someone tell me did gary nolan stay with blarney st after or did he go else where?
Does it actually matter where a player is from...I have to say Billy your comments are probably the most rediculious comments I have seen on this forum....who cares where a player is from and where he decides to play football once both club and player are happy let them drive on...
Alrite Duck, last i heard Gary Nolan was gonna kick around with Glen B. A serious talent but has a habit of "falling out" with those in charge. Should be playing premier soccer if he could just put his mind to it for a long period not just a couple of months as has been the case with his last 3 or 4 clubs.
Alrite lads, anyone know if or when the next round of aoh cup is to be made? Seems a while since the last draw?
yes i think it does matter where a player is from . all the clubs like Leeside , Kilumney and Coachford with their city based players . The fact of the matter is its diluting the quality of teams in the city and in particular the northside . So KC i wouldnt be whinging about Wilton if they were after Greaney . At least Wilton are reasonably close to ye and it shows Kilreen are doing something right
Been away awhile lads... Did I miss much??
If a club has an underage section and when players turn 18 19 20 what are they to do Billy ? Must clubs have 1 maybe 2 mens teams yes ? they can't be places for 11 maybe 15 players that are over age for youths and thats ever year ? yes/no what do u suggest these players do wait in sidelines till players retire ? of course their not they are going to find clubs that the can get first team football with and the 1 or 2 superstars on each youth team are going to look to better themselves with other clubs .
Boo in defence of Leeside at least the fellas that join ye arent down there in pursuit of the clam
I agree that teams are weaker in recent years but a lot of this is down to lads leaving Ireland and lads putting work before sport to safeguard their future....but if a player from the city wants to better himself on the field and he feels that moving to a club outside the city will do that , then wheres the harm....Look at rockmount in the MSL.... How many players on their squad are from Whitechurch or even played schoolboys with them and look at the success they are after having....its all about winning trophies at the end of the day
predictions!!!

As long as he keeps feeding them well i don't think the other teams will have much to worry about!! ;)
Seriously though Billyteam your first few posts have been controversial, i don't suppose you want to tell us if you are involved with a particular club?
All welcome at Killumney Inn anytime lads, make yourselves known and im sure we'll throw ye a few chips!
AUL match moved to a thursday night i'm hearing??? Thats a joke!! Guys will struggle to get off work for that . Did the AUL agree to that? if they did thats another big mess up on their part
Big result for blarney street today..could be the result to make them push forward after a few changes to the squad....another big result for grattan today..mid table now with 2 wins on the bounce
[QUOTE=The Lawd;1566117]Being reading a bit the last few days alright duckdu. Very surprised with the Wilton result today. Two bad results in a row now for them. Park beating Coachford aswell? Thought Coachford be on a high after there huge result last weekend againist Leeside....
wouldn't call beating leeside a big result to be honest lawd fancy killumney to be them tomorrow, blarney st beating Wilton then ya that's a big win...
Big result for Kilumney against Leeside . Seems the clams they are serving with the extra chips are yielding dividends
Seems you called the Kilumney v leeside result right Duckdu . Boo tell us whats going on down in leeside?????
ive seen it all now freddie flintstone on about meals in the killumney inn, whats your point ,city players playing for them because they get food after game.if you had your facts ,the killumney inn sponsor the team ,the owner is one of their top committee men ,and he does what a lot of pubs do when they sponsor teams ,lay on food. all i can say is that its working and a good win again today v leeside.
all you are short is the pom poms shetland
i know who he is shetland . Everyone knows how "generous" he is . He has deep pockets that guy
and whats wrong with that ,he supports and sponsors his local team and fair play to him.
your point is billy?you have come out with a few strange ones since you started posting,,the pom poms were in neptune stadium today to see the home side get another hammering,,.as for my allegience to killumney utd ,well there isnt one ,a good friend of mine .,
manages them now and we still keep in contact,i have only seen them play twice this year.
