He didn't feature in the game last night against Blackpool. Is he injured? Is Green getting ready for Euro 2012?
I know it hasn't been Eircom, but you dont remember, as i do, he referred to it as Eircom league about a year or so ago, thats the point.
Also i wasn't having a bite at anything, i regularly post on this forum, and don't just sporadically appear on a Thanks when someone has a go at someone else, or add indifferent and one liners that have little to do with the subject at hand(generally anyway :P).
You over-estimate CR, but he will hardly admit to not knowing it now.
Is Barnsley one of those LOI teams?
From Dan McDonnell's Twitter. Gutted for him...

Breaking news. Keith Fahey out of Euro 2012 with groin injury. Scan after match showed negative result. Paul Green called in.
FFS!!!
Confirmed by the FAI.
Why has he only had a scan now? Did he aggravate something on the touchline or what?
Was wishful thinking to calling him up at all I'd imagine.
Gutted for the guy, fair play to him for giving it a go. As documented in this thread, I'm not his biggest fan, but I wouldn't wish an eleventh hour injury on anyone, especially before such a big tournament. We wouldn't be in the tournament without his crucial winner way to Armenia.
Gutted for him.
Very unfortunate for the lad.
Nice that Paul has been given the Green light :)
I wonder did keith think himself that he would be fit by the Crotia game? Very tough on him, considering his goal against armenia away was probably the most important of the campaign.
Fahey not to return until September: http://www.bcfc.com/page/News/NewsDe...836197,00.html

Good to hear the forgotten man returns. I hope Trap keeps an eye on him with a view to Germany. With all the debate over midfield/left-wing, he's been a bit left behind. But if he gets back to speed quickly, Keith could be the compromise candidate to play left midfield. Would certainly prefer him to Cox anyway.
On the bench today against Forest

what happened Fahey?
Saw that on twitter this morning, not sure what to make of it yet.
I hope he and his family are okay.
Any idea what has happened?
I heard something this morning, i dont know if its true though. Its personal lets put it that way.
Its nothing to worry about in terms of illness/sickness etc
well if what i heard is correct then some might see it as one of the above.
Suggest you've heard wrong so
'Birmingham boss hits out over rumours of bust-up with Fahey': http://www.independent.ie/sport/socc...y-3342906.html

ANGRY Birmingham boss Lee Clark has hit out at internet speculation that Keith Fahey has taken a break from football due to a run-in with the manager.
The Dubliner was given leave to return home to Ireland seven weeks ago due to a family issue and there have been suggestions that he will soon go back to England.
However, while Fahey has kept his head down after the club requested that his privacy was respected, inaccurate rumours have continued to circulate about the reason for his continued absence.
Clark addressed the matter after further theories were brought to his attention.
"There has been speculation with regards myself and Keith again," he said.
"It keeps rearing its ugly head and it's disappointing and frustrating because I have got a good relationship with the lad, we get on really well and I'm missing a hugely talented footballer.
"But I am missing him because, although football is very important to me, what goes on with my family is even more important and Keith has got an issue back in his homeland.
"And if I have got to keep saying it, I will – this is the truth. It is open-ended. When he comes back, it will be when Keith Fahey feels it's right to come back.
"And there's no way that, even if we had had a so-called bust-up, he would have gone because he would have been in breach of contract – and he totally isn't.
"He has got a situation that needs to be sorted out and sorted out in his own time."
"I think people have got to know me quite well here now and they know that I am open and honest," he added.
"And if there was a situation, I would just come out and tell the public.
"I am a fan myself, so I wouldn't like to think I was being misled. If there was a situation that needed to be rectified, I would do it."
Clark is a liar.
